I’m not sure if this has been asked for but I was hoping you’d consider developing a dark theme for this program?
I have bad eyes and black on white/light hurts me to look at nowadays. I use the high contrast windows theme on my computer for that reason but doing so makes this program nearly unusable, plus the item cards in the main window don’t get changed anyway so it’s moot but it’s a hassle to switch back and forth just for this program. To say nothing of the headaches…
Just a friendly suggestion! Thank you for the awesome tool.
I tried using the tool, but it never finds any items. I reinstalled it, reinstalled the game, ran it as admin, but none of that worked. I also tried to reboot after installation and run if afterwards, that didn’t work either. My OS is Win10 x64.
Since i’m kinde out of ideas, I’d be thankful for any helpful advice how to make the tool working.
I’ll get it fixed in the near future, but I need to improve the performance for buddy items. The IA startup time and general performance while buddyitems is syncing is too low.
Should we worry about the mythical gear stored in IA with all the changes to mythical gear in today’s patch? I mean what happens when you pull some gear out of IA that’s been changed in-game by the patch?
I have no idea what changed this update, but stat tweaking etc is no concern for IA.
IA doesn’t modify or care about item stats, at the most you’ll need to load the database again, for any added/removed/tweaked stats to reflect properly inside IA.
Once transferred into the game, the items will reflect whatever changes were done in the patch.
Yeah I noticed that IA automatically parsed the database today. Cool stuff.
You really should check out the patch notes though, they changed a whole lot of things: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63271
They have the exact same stats when you transfer them back ingame?
There was a duplication issue, but that was maybe 6 months ago…
I’ll get a fix to ensure it cannot happen, ever.
The question is if the items should be deleted, or left inside GD and a popup inside IA saying why it wasn’t looted.
If its deleted, there’s a 0,00000000005% chance of losing an item, if you do happen to get a pure duplicate.
You’d need at least 500,000 copies of a given item for it to start being a real probability. But everyone can win the lottery once, right
