Thank you for letting me know about translation. Indeed, your GDIA are well known and popular with our users.
I am delighted to be able to localize it this time. Iāll translate the tags_ui.text as soon as possible and put it on our wiki.

Wow those are some old screenshots⦠thatās way back from the alpha versions
Just to clarify, the file needs to be called tags_ia.txt
Just stick it into the translation package and IA will do the rest =)
Translation is complete. However, there seems to be some problems.
iatag_ui_resistances
iatag_ui_backup_location
Can you give me the translation file? Iāll investigate and add support for the remaining tags, and create another name for the duplicates.
Iāve located the specific cases, but may be more.
Yes, here it is. Thanks!
Edit: A while ago, as I announced the translation of GDIA in my thread, I immediately received great expectations from users!
Iāll try to get a fix by tomorrow! =)
My friend and I will work on a Russian translation.
http://grimdawn.dreamcrash.org/ia/misc/tags_ia.txt
Updated with a few extra text strings (at the bottom)
No new version of IA is required to support these, they were simply omitted earlier.
The remaining strings Iāll get an update for.
Thanks for update, but there are duplicate tags yet, and that part is not displayed properly (in the purple circle). So, the classes field down the left side is not displayed.
And, it seems that parts related to skills (each Mastery & Item) and various XX Resistance are displayed in English as it is. (in the green circle)
In addition, the following words can not be translated. (in the red circle)
Updated tags: http://grimdawn.dreamcrash.org/ia/misc/tags_ia.txt
Updated IA: http://grimdawn.dreamcrash.org/ia/misc/GDItemAssistantTranslationBeta.exe
Patch notes:
TODO:
Skills are still not translated, but no further work is required on part of the translator.
Skills will be taken from the game translations, so will will be updated automatically once Iāve got a fix ready.
For the html tags, some of them have been included in the file but are not yet supported by IA. The next update should helpfully add support for them, so including the tags now.
A lot of places lacks native support for translations, as it was slowly being discontinued.
Iām working on getting it all back up to a decent standard =)
Thanks for your efforts! The display was improved considerably.
However, the expansion classes are doubly displayed, and the upper two are invalid. If this is gone, it will be enough to use.
You can still translate the title.
Iāll try to look into the classes, but having a hard time understanding what it says
Great, just let me know if you run into any challenges =)
Installing
1)Disable cloud saving for Grim Dawn in Steam.
2) Disable cloud saving for Grim Dawn inside GD itself (checkbox under settings)
3) Install Net Framework 4.5.2
4) Run IA
Can we re-enable cloud save after?
I play grim dawn on a separate computer sometimes when Iām away from my main pc.
IA will not function correctly with it turned on.
Itās a bit hit and miss as to when GD reads changes to stash file when cloud saving is on, so IA will simply not function, rather than function unreliably.
It may be added support for it in the future, but definitely on the list of long-term goals, not short term.
Yeah, I forgot it, thanks.
Another problem. Translation characters in the green circle are not displayed correctly. For some reason, the translation is displayed only on the top line, its content is the same sentence as the line immediately below it. That is, the translation of āLogout this computerā is not displayed.
(I changed the translation a bit, so I will reattach it.)
By the way, these characters can not be clicked but how does it work?
Iāll investigate the issue.
Definitely something odd going on⦠the login button and logout should never be visible at the same time.
Either youāre logged in (and can logout), or you can login, but not logout.
Iāll look into it later today.
And obviously the button should be translateable.
Understood. thank you for your efforts and info.
Thanks for your reply, are you a co-developer?
Keep up the good work!
I apparently (for reasons unknown) have two users on the forum, one I use at work, and one at home.
