I didn’t mean to sound rude guys. English is not my native language so I can’t always feel the tone and underlying meanings of words. So sorry. I just wanted to carry the author’s attention to the issue . Again - my appoligies. The calculator is a great tool thanks for it
Great! Thanks. One very tiny issue though - when you reach lvl 85 (in the calculator i mean) and then right click any skill to revert points the level shown doesn’t decrease. Works for all lvls up to 85 but once 85 reached it doesn’t work.
P.S. and that poor Wind Devil skill still doesn’t look to do anything with levels
Works for me. If you spent 85 stat points, it will stay at level 85 because you have to be level 85 for that, maybe you are trying that? Also the current level math is wrong because I rounded it off at the wrong place. so at level 85 you get 2 points, you have to decrease 2 points to get to level 84. But its otherwise correct and I’m not touching the server today unless it actually doesnt decrease provided that you dont have 85 stat points allocated and are right clicking twice.
Hey, one more version! This ones pretty close to release. All interactions should be near their final state, zoom exists, dragging works fine etc. Requirements aren’t implemented(but displayed), rewards are displayed and calculated/shown on top as well. It is sandbox, as is the skill calc itself(i.e. it doesn’t care if you do not meet the requirement, but will tell about it)
A few quirks exist, but other than the visuals(and some timings may need to be tweaked), it should be good. Some properties are missing, will look into it next.
The ones who previously had lag on this page / or the page was too heavy, this should be fast on any modern browser. Let me know your config if this lags. http://104.236.206.28/Mastery/Elementalist
(homepage works, too. http://104.236.206.28/ monsters updated but don’t have the new classifications – so theres that)
If you have a browser issue or something like that on this page, please post. You shouldn’t have big issues either way, though.
Im basically looking for confirmation in a sense.
Ignore the images returning to their normal inactive images on click, that is because I don’t have the hover images atm.
Also new shortcuts:
[li] 1 / 2 / 3[/li]switches the active tab to class1 / class2 / devotion
[li] Q / W / E[/li]adds -1/1/2 points to the mastery of the active class
[li] R[/li]adds enough points to the mastery of the active class to put the points spent to “next tier” (i.e. if you have 33 point it adds 7 points so there will be 40 points in the mastery bar)
[li] A / S / D[/li]adds 1 point to physique / cunning / spirit
[li] Z / X / C[/li]removes 1 point from physique / cunning / spirit
[li] ESC[/li]closes the devotion page or ask for confirmation to reset the skill points spent if the devotion page is closed
Thanks, sorry didn’t notice you reply when you posted
Let me know if theres anything changed in the new patch that my steam just downloaded – afaik there should be no change related to this site, so it will stay as-is unless someone spots something.
Wow, thanks for the update. thumbsup
Everything works.
Buuut
In FF 43 devotion window isnt scaling properly:
IE11 is fine.
Then, negative values are possible -> more than 50 devotion points to spend.
The “path” in Light of Empyrion goes from top down to the left side (+25%fire dmg node)
Dire Bear is missing a link between nodes.
P.S. There’s a small sting formating error on Break Morale: “Disrupt target’s skill3” (on live version)
Added devotion(work in progress, misses some tooltips, the background image has 2 mistakes – but it should be good enough for a share link while its in development)
updated sidebar, fixed a few visual bugs(the oldest one being sidebars height)
added shortcuts(see the first page on this thread)
Some stuff may break, ctrl+f5 and if its still broken, do tell
Some bugs previously mentioned are still alive. Still working on that stuff. Nothing completely broken though. Also the platform/browser specific ones, resize etc. are fixed.
Scaling should be fixed now. (also the zoom out is fixed, from the previous reports)
I have no problem with spending more than 50 points, as it functions as a sandbox. I am fine as long as its apparent(though devotion atm doesnt have requirements very apparent and I am sorry about that. drawing each image and marker with opacity and having all versions of constellations is a choice between having the site at 3 fps or 100 mb – in case anyone wonders why it looks like this, it wasn’t because I didn’t implement it)
Thanks for telling me about the dire bear and light of empyrion, I knew about the dire bear but not the latter, I’d probably not notice it for ages
I will recreate the background image and stylize constellations based on their damage types or something like that. It is hard to navigate unless you remember these details from the game. I have just used this one for now, as I plan to just make it again but better.
Heres my main todo list for the next updates(fixing the devotion image is a must, tooltips are the next must and the rest I pick on randomly, let me know if I am missing anything important):
fix dire bear / light of empyrion
clearly display damage types(add background sprites from the game and probably colorize the markers for each of the 4~5 general groups)
rewrite the tooltips
add other monster classes to the monsters pages
implement decent pet tooltips(and yes, the wind-something skill…)
have the rest of the site conform to language preference
test mobile
(and every now and then I am going back pages to the stuff I skipped)
doublethumbsup
Veeery minor nitpick: please change acquired node overlay to a more yellowish one (like in the game), right now its somewhat hard to differentiate between acquired/not acquired nodes when highlighted.
I did mean getting negative values on a skill node, thus gaining additional devotion points without even realising it. But you already fixed that along with reassigning points to a node.
When I 1st open page image does not show until I click and drag.
Once they do all display I cannot drag past the Assassin Dagger nor can I zoomed out to show anything right of it.
3 Refresh page everything goes dark and constellation never re-displays.
You can go negative levels on points.
If these are known my apologies.
Great work with all you do and thanks for making this tool.
Ah, yeah I fixed the negative values for nodes, minor misunderstanding
These should be fixed on the release version. can you confirm? http://grimcalc.com/Mastery/Spellbreaker (press the devotion tab or ‘3’ on your keyboard and it may take a bit to load, its an image at 1.2 MB – during this time the screen should be black)
I did notice you can click a skill like Turtle Shell multiple times so you can see each level of benefits however each level past 1 is subtracting from your devotion total. Even so it is very functional as is right now and it looks great. I assume that would be something addressed if you add point enforcement but a user can do that if they pay attention.
