Running the latest GOG version and just downloaded this, I can confirm that spawn item does not seem to work.

So i downloaded GDTH and followed instructions. I set up manually the path and started the game. When I try to load a character, the GDTH get stucked at “now start a game”. My GD is v1.0.0.5 from GOG. Am I using the wrong version of GDTH? Any help is appreciated.

immor does not have the gog version and it is currently not supported

All versions until 6.12 worked with gog versions! I was a tester. Idk what changed so that now it doesnt work, spawning items and monsters for example

Seem like older version form cheatengine was removed. Anyone know where can i find them ? My GD version is 1.0.0.5 i need 6.03->6.08. or pls upload it for me. I really appreciate !

Good ideal! Which version work best with GOG ? i looking for version with spawn item working. I try 6.12 with 1009 but no luck.

I finnaly got some old version for 1005 form gamecopyworld but none work either. 6.03, 6.05, 6.10 etc. I got error blank space when start trainer and it said Not in the game even i am in. Does the trainer has specific regedit save ? Can i need to delete previous version ?

why are you using super old version of GD? It’s like saying I’m ordering cheeseburger only remove the cheese. Go update GD

You can get older versions of Cheat Engine from the Cheat Engine site:

Any way to tweak this to work with the GoG version?

(For eg; Would somehow getting the tag dictionary or whatever it is from the steam version and putting it here do the trick? The Char1 tab seems to work fine with the gog version. It is the item spawner that seems to have problems.)

If not, will GoG version support be re-added in the future?

The problem is that for the GoG version some of the memory offsets were shifted. I know that those offsets only differ for a view bytes but I am not able to reverse the GoG version, since I am currently not owning a working GoG copy.
So, no, sadly you’re not able to work around this for yourself.

I don’t see me buying the game a twice just to be able to support different versions…

Really nice trainer OP!

I have used CE on and off over the years but mostly just to give myself more gold…lol

I have been interested in figuring out how to do more things with CE so last night I learned some about:

static addresses, which is all I had done over the years
pointers
asm/code edits
using scripts

Was lots of reading and messing around to figure things out but I finally was able to make a script for freezing energy and manage to find pointers for health so I now can just load a ct and not have to search for anything.

I also made my very first modest little trainer that only has health/energy freeze for gog version 1.0.0.6

Woot was fun if lots of work, I have much more appreciation and idea of how much effort some of you put into these.

Thank Immor ! Really nice tool! Any update form spawn rare items (Green items) with prefix suffix ? Right now it spawn with no prefix at all.
