4min SR 75 is nowhere near similar performance since we run the builds through both 75 and 76 in 4-5minutes. I tried vit ghol some time ago and found it better as acid, bleed or even chaos.
Whats sketchy about the Lost Souls build? You have to proc flat RR with the movement rune which is not optimal and if i wanted it to score higher in the spread sheet i should have submitted vitality version. I find chaos a bit better however.
It depends on a build’s damage profile, for example if you have a single target damage focused build with middling aoe you are better off looking for Nemeses and ignoring white mobs. If you have massive aoe you are better off herding white packs and packs of heroes together to maximize your dps. Some builds are faster if you skip single heroes/small hero packs and look for bigger crowds, etc. etc.
I don’t really understand why they are arguing.
The guys expressed their opinion, they don’t impose it on anyone.
I’m glad that they include save files.
I wanted to test the shield breaker, but didn’t get around to it. And here it is - top20. I downloaded, played, realized that I didn’t like the character at all = saved a lot of time.
It would be great if you uploaded a bunch of other characters here in the same way - with saves.
The only thing that makes me angry is that everyone here has a red Ravager.
I’m assembling a character according to the guide, and I have a WHITE Ravager, and he just spins the assembled character on a pipe, although with the red one it was the other way around.
Well, now I immediately run to Callagadra to test it, it is the same for everyone.
What’s interesting is why the upper limit is set to 75-76 shards, and not 90-91 (the latter with a reward).
And if you set the bar to 30-35 shards, then most of the non-viable glass cannons would show themselves to be better than the current top 1-2-3-4-10.
Well, in general, yes. I’ll stop at the fact that thank you for the saves - I’ll definitely test them and form my own opinion))
SR90 runs alone can take up to 4 minutes, basing off of Mad_Lee’s videos, meaning you can nearly get 2 SR 75-76 runs in the time it takes to get one SR 90-91 run, and the loot rarity from the SR increase is not worth the quantity of loot you get by doing more SR 75-76 runs.
That’s the main reason, but there’s another one. The game is much more balanced in 75-76. Climbing that high becomes a freak show. I did try a few of the builds, and you can still complete SR 90 with 1vs1 on nemesis and try to avoid getting in sticky situations in other shards.
As the evil Lord Zedd said, everything above 65 Shards is for bragging rights, the reward grows insignificantly.
But if you focus on the reward, then the assessment of the celestial beings generally becomes irrelevant - there is no reward for them.
Isn’t the point about overcoming the most difficult elements?
This is a rhetorical question. The answer is different for everyone))
So about that Korba set - I see that in the cruicable video the build is linked but it is using a Mythical Peerless eye of Beronath there instead of the Kaisan eye. It looks better in a lot of ways. Just HP and %dmg is less. But on the other hand it has DA, OA, Crit and the ability which is like +110 DA on top.
(And light radius )
Are the 400-500hp and 160%dmg really worth giving up these other stats?
Not the author of the build, but Kaisan with good rolls is amazing. That being said, it’s PITA to obtain one with good affixes. Peerless Eye is less RNG item, so it’s easy to assemble a build with it in mind.
Peerless is probably as good or almost as good and much much cheaper. If you have a very good rolled Kaisan, go for it, if you have Peerless and mediocre Kaisan I would go for Peerless.
It was simply not good enough, not even for honorable mentions. Good news is that in the current test patch it’s quite a bit better (but still not top20 material).
Same problem as Gutsmasher EoR above - not good enough. Plus it is way too expensive.
I am confused by the this rating when looking at the spreadsheet. According to the spreadsheet the Acid RtA Aegis Sentinel should be first as it has the highest Average rating. So why is it not #1?
EDIT: Even when I remove “Ease of play” and “Gear Score” from the equasion the Acid RtA Aegis Sentinel is still best while Trickster Korba is on #4
I want to say thank you for your list. I played 1500 hours, but all my builds were bad. Among these assemblies I found what I wanted to try. Special thanks for the document with all the contenders, I like to look for a build for those sets that dropped during the game.
Basically spreadsheet was merely a tool to facilitate the testing process. This way every tester had a chance to calibrate their own scores after playing more builds and also those scores were always leading to (sometimes heated) discussions. It also helped us avoid playing favourites as much as it was possible. For example without this spreadsheet someone might’ve nominated their favourite build to be number one in his personal list because they thought that said build has great damage and great survivability. But with this spreadsheet you can actually see what others think of your favourite build’s damage and survivability and if your initial assessment was fair or not.
Tremendous job, guys. Only one 2H build makes it into opinion about top 20 builds - and it is Lightning due to Kraken gives blue and red nods required for Ultos in any case. Quite a telling picture about how 2H builds are limited by going Kraken route.
I argued and was shot down that trying to do an “objective” list of criteria and then making personal rankings from those and averaging them was a really silly way to approach this, but it’s how it was done the first time and you know how hard change can be
I don’t think the Kraken is the main issue. Sure, it’s restrictive of your devotion route, but stats are good and you can combine it with weapon specific devotion as well. It just after the leech was nerfed, 2H are in even more vulnerable position, compared to DW melee, how many times you are being interrupted, and then you can’t sustain? Damage (especially lightning) has pretty big swings, and DW WPS gives you more flexibility.
