So once more I stuffed around theory crafting a end game build for my redone elementalist to vindicator build and found it’s semi-good, some testing in SR found it’s semi-okay, but it’s a bit too glassy, due to low physical resistance + only 1 circuit breaker. I think that’s probably fixable by replacing the boots.

Otherwise any suggestions much appreciated as my brain is currently garbage due to insomnia >_< And lethologica is eating even simple words now too…

Died in SR to Fabius in a shard (total noob mistake) and then Rashalga in boss room when running from 70-75. Too tired to press on. I think though it’ll work out okay enough. Nothing super fast, just nothing no one’s posted before :stuck_out_tongue:

And yes, I wasn’t aiming for 4000K OA, it just happened lawl. 100K crits were disgustingly common sights. Probably help’s Storm Box is softcapped, all because I was worried about not having enough OA, which sat about 3100 in the theory crafted version…

Might also try a Myth. Light’s Defender set, but Ludrigan’s set allows you to have some what better WPS lightening damage. And that’s the the focus + need to have Savagery at 26/16

Ludrigan’s set is rather not (surprisingly not) for savagery imo even tho it supports chilling rounds. It’s rather for those who want to spam the heck out of storm totem and it would actually work way better but since (I imply that) u want to go dual savagery here are my first recommendations…

Korvaak’s medal 100% no questions asked, it has 6% life steal inbuild.

I think u can definitely get better belt, I wasn’t always fan of that belt because it has that meh timewarp and some skill points but that’s about it… usually when u get some good converion green belt for example… “Chains of Brandis” u can start to get the idea of picking some bat devotion or smth crazy like that, although I am personally not a fan of doing that either but give it a go.

Honestly, since u started picking ultos, you could technically go with 3 or 4 ultos pieces since it supports savagery and stuff.

I mean, changed almost the whole layout of gear but at least that’s what is suitable more for savagery instead. 4k OA is definitely overkill, although it’s a good thing to have, what’s not nice is that you have a pretty small DA - 2522, try to get it up a little bit more.

Changed de… uhh gun… and ring with boots as well to something savagery… has now like 19% physical resist instead of old 11%.

You could definitely take 1 pointer in wendigo totem, since it has a tiny bit life steal and heal as well.

Devotions could use some work too and I see why you took revenant, it has goodies but crown takes the cake when it comes to flat lightning (elemental) reduction imo + it only costs 3 points unless u need/want to complete that devotion.

You actually have access to Korvaak’s devotions, therefore, u can drop the storm box altogether for some points since korvaak reduces foes flat OA and DA and since you don’t have issues with OA it will activate almost always.

Hope my insight helps a little bit mess and also another thing I personally use and recommend is “Grammarly” - it automatically fixes grammatical errors and it’s free so… yeh.

I tried theorycrafting a build like a while ago, Ludrigan+Dagallon gun for storm spread mod but then it turned out to just be a worse Evoker of Elgoloth build. So I thought to go mage hunter instead. Main reason for using Ludrigran was the +skills (the hat is very, very nice) and shifting chilling rounds completely to lightening. Because there’s sadly not a lot of cold to lightening conversion sources. Also makes Storm Totem virtually free skill point’s wise. But yeah, it definitely has some annoying draw backs sadly.

Anyhow, I’ll try this one out: Vindicator, Level 100 (GD 1.1.9.7) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator Probably change the devotions, because Korvaak doesn’t have the best utility in SR boss rooms from what I can gather.

Really wish we’d gotten a one handed gun built for Savagery though.

Right, stuffed around in SR 75 last night testing out the Ultos version + a redo of the devotion map:

It’s still glassy and requires 100% focus on piloting, also kills slower than the Spear of Heaven’s route it seems. Did manage the SR75 boss rooms with ease though on both versions, once I got used to not eating Alek’s meteor (I usually can on my other self-made builds…). It feels slower to kill too than the Ludrigan version, probably because the WPS add more damage.

I think I might just post both once I’ve done more testing with the Ludrigan version to see what it’s weaknesses are.

Derp, I keep screwing up my SR piloting, definitely need moar sleeeeeep.

Back to the Ludrigan version(3rd one) in SR75 and the Mad Queen is definitely the worst one to fight, also ground effect AOE’s kill this build very quickly >_<

Mad Queen was a stupidly hard fight compared to everything else, requiring extremely on the ball piloting to avoid dying. And of course I bound the movement skill to right click so I zoomed in to my death numerous times. But I killed her in the end, via kitting and only unloading on her when everything clicked together.
