1.0.0.4 has removed the troves in temple of the forgotten god and hallowed hill. Not sure if it added one or more to compensate elsewhere though I doubt it.

Updated the guide for the 1.0.0.4 patch. Sadly 2 Troves were removed, Hallowed Hill and Shrine of the Forgotten God 
Just found one in Village of Darkvale,
in the small hut south of the shrine.
I will look into this tonight 
If you can provide a screenshot like Duck_King on page 1 of this thread it will be very helpful.
I saw the hallowed hill shrine on ultimate when Iw ent to grab the one shot chest, it was however not there on elite when I went.
Guessing it just has a very low spawn rate making it no longer worth farming
maybe there is one scattered over whole Burrwitch including Hallowed Hill but it take some time to find the spawn and validate all. My Blademaster is fully geared so I do not play that much as I simply walk through all mobs except from nemesis. I will do some runs to complete the guide for the patch 1.0.0.4 for sure but can give you an eta.
However if somebody finds one please make screenshot of the chest (with camera facing north): “If you did not screenshot it it never happened”

Thank you for your help guys I did a quick last night but I guess was too tired and missed it :undecided:
But I can confirn that the trove is spawning in ultimate as well. I will add a section in the guide as soon as I have done a few more runs to check all possible spawn points… or maybe I should get into the modding tools, and check the code for the troves 
If we may take this trove in exchange for the one from the Shrine of the Forgotten God, there may be another one in exchange for Hallowed Hills one.
Maybe in Burrwitch or the Warden Cellar areas… If somebody stumple over it please let me know. Looks like I have do some excessive Burrwitch runs… again… like good old alpha days

Found a new one in Craigs Crags. Probably has more than this one spawn location.

Ran 6 times and no sign of any trove chests. veteran.
Looking for a place to do quick runs. Have run the 3 spots in the Deep till blue in face.
Getting lots of goodies. 17 hearts and other, plus lots of recipes.
Another location for Craig’s Crags.
I haven’t found any troves on normal/veteran in this area either, I presume it’s because it’s technically an act 1 area and dynamite isn’t available at that point (the part-time trove on Hallowed Hill isn’t there either in normal). Even though the minimum mob level is about 35.
is there a 4th spawn point for the tyrant’s hold trove? I checked all 3 and it hadn’t spawned
Yes. Go further south from the spawn point near the entrance to the dungeon. It should be in the bottom corner inside the building on top of the rampart. Can show you a picture if needed when i get back from work.
New spot in the Festering Lair, dungeon located in Abandoned Waterfront in Burrwitch.
In the same game I checked Hallowed Hill and didn’t find a trove there, so I can’t exclude this spot in the Lair being an alternative for the one on the Hill. Might be that both can spawn, need more data.
I think that chest shows up randomly in Cellars too. I just checked festering lair and no luck, but the Dank Cellar (Where you save Darlet) had a chest.

I couldnt find the Craigs Crags chest unless they moved it to be part of east march. Checked Hallowed Hill, didn’t show up there.
No luck here on veteran. No chest in any of the cellars and caves. Also checked smugglers basin and hallowed hill. Maybe it only appears on ultimate.
