Hi, sorry if this has been asked a million times before, but…
I just started playing the game yesterday and besides missing visible health bars above the heads of enemies I really enjoy this game so far. Anyways, I decided to create a Trickster and as usual when starting a new game I started reading up on specializations and such. I found a few that seems to be cool and fun to play. However, now I have a question regarding the wording in a few of the passives, such as Belgothian’s shears, in the Nightblade-mastery combined with the Savagery-attack in the Shaman-mastery:
Savagery:
“When used as your default weapon attack…”
Belgothian’s shears:
“This is a melee dual-wielding technique that activates off of default weapon attacks.”
Does this mean that the passive can’t proc off of Savagery if I set it as my default weapon attack (which I assume is the one bound to the left mouse button), since it’s not an actual default weapon attack (just a special attack bound to the left mouse button), or am I reading too much into this?
tl;dr:
Does Belgothian’s shears and other similar passives proc off of Savagery?
Savagery can replace the default attack button. So, if you put it in your LMB, then it is considered as a default attack and can proc other skills that would proc under the regular default attack.
That is my understanding. Maybe someone else will be able to clarify if I am wrong.
