“So great was the Sorrrow, Even the bones bled”
The Bleeding Heart.
Build Concept
This build capitalizes on Dots now being able to crit. The concept of this build is to apply as many bleeds as Humanly possible. It’s a very easy rotation of abilities. To much surprise there is actually very large amount of supporting gear for this build. I found the build to take a bit to get to level 30. After Level 30 this build really accelerates. This was partially because i was avoiding any distribution of stats into phys. My goal of this build is for it to be 0 phys , 100% cunning.
The Rotation Wendigo Totem, Blade Trap, Phantasmal Blades, Ring of Steel, Devouring Swarm, Bloodbath (Slaughter Relic)
With this rotation i was hitting for 13k dot ticks at level 50. At Level 58, The build gets a little crazy with individual items contributing 5k per a tick.
Ohhh, another bleed build? You’re really in love with blood, eh? I’ve honestly been pretty interested in bleed lately, now I don’t know if I want to try your pet build or this build more. Probably just going to give both a whirl eventually, I’m an altoholic.
On a side note, I just discovered The Birthday Massacre thanks to your video. I always appreciate finding new music randomly on the internet.
I started this build which actually inspired my La Magra Summoner. Summoners needed a fresh look … same old build doing the same old thing for too long. I will say this build started with looking at all the bleed gear i was massing up and though welp… looks like the next char is a bleed spec. I expect once i hit level 75 to crack 80k bleed ticks. I just had the hard look at which would be better the Clarvoiants hat or the Wispers helm. Over all though the build is coming along quite nicely… Tons of damage… I find it hard to find bosses that i can even get a full rotation off on.
The thing that has always made me nervous about bleed is that when enemies resist bleed, they resist the hell out of it. Are any of those enemies a problem?
The build is sporting -83% bleed. not to mension it has a Massive amount of peirce in it… honestly speaking it doesn’t need the bleed. You can see in the video’s that it melee’s for 2-4k’s at level 68. Interestingly enough Everything can bleed. I’ll put a video together of Ark Undercity. After a full debuff even ghosts bleed for 50%ish of the damage. The summoner build i have has -133% which is crazzzy.
Edit: Also with me hitting 40k ticks. I am sitting at 1167% bleed. At level 75 this build gets Bloodsong <3 … Bloodsong at my current gearing is 16,000 over 5s. Currently Brutalix is 30,000 over 15s… Now the game doesn’t add in durration increase. Currently i am at 180% increase durration. So when i get reflected… Brutalix stays on me for 38.2s… yes… 38.2s of bleed… it’s annoying. I cannot wait till i get Bloodsong.
You want to steal the show and take the burden of writing a guide?
With bloodsong, brutallax, emp. bloodbathed links and vileblood mantle the build is hardly not gear dependant. Sure, it can work without them, but the amount of flat bleeding damage you get from gear is huge.
-80% res is not much for bleeding damage when some mobs have 150% resist, I had 180% pre nerf, 130% currently.
Wildblood mantle is all nice, but Vileblood Mantle has that very important proc and is tailored for trickster build. If you want some recommendation for pants you can add empowered legplates of valor - the build needs bleed resist to survive reflect. Another option is a rare with stonehide prefix.
I don’t know if i would say i want to steel the shown or anything. I knoticed that a guide was missing for this type of charicter on the compendium. My Alts are determined by how much of what gear i have lol =) As it sits i am looking at a druid or Sorc next. Thanks for the info thou. I didn’t even know about Vileblood Mantle… that thing is specially tailored to the build.
So this might be my lack of experience talking, but how exactly do you kill stuff using the suggested leveling path (which is, basically, masteries and a bunch of 1-ofs all the way up to 40+)? Am I missing something, like crafted stuff or components from other high-level chars?
I seem to have a small issue with the leveling guide/suggested path. At no point does it show you maxing Nightblade to get blade spirit, but in your Lvl 60 video, it shows that you have it on your bar. The issue stems from not being able to attach falcon to it at any point if following your build guide to the T.
