First of all, confirm me on this topic; Blacksmith can not craft an item with both prefix and suffix at the same time? Thus, it makes me less inclined to craft-rush.
So should i farm mobs or blacksmith if i need a green?

I crafted 2k Boots. I still don’t have Stonehide of Nature Bounty. You could craft 2 and get one it is 100% Random but getting 2 Rare Affix on the same pair and being the two specifics one you wish for is incredibly lucky.
Still I have gotten some massive piece Stonehide of Void Harbinger, Stonehide of Fallen Skies come to my mind first but still no Stonehide of Nature Bounty or Stonehide of that suffix I don’t remember the name which give a lot of Piercing Resistance.
Depends on the type of craft. If it’s a generic scrap crafting (yellow color), then you can get both affixes. If it’s a rare (green color), then only one affix. Although some of them have pretty good base stats (i.e. Master’s spellblade) so having one good rare affix can put them into the endgame status.
But generally you’d only want to craft boots en masse, because right now there is no end-game MI equivalent for boots.
Leggings too, many builds lack good end game legendary leggings.
There are 3 types of endgame MI pants to farm.
Trying to get a specific prefix/suffix is annoying, I just crafted about 200 heavy boots and got exactly two stonehide, but both without a suffix. Getting a double rare is proving to be fairly impossible, I would say it’s 1 in 500 crafts, if that.
I guess this is the endgame grind :rolleyes:
Perhaps I´ve been lucky but I had more than 1 with double rares when crafting boots. Rimefrost/of Kings and Merciless/of Vicious Barbs to name two e. g.
But I never got Stonehide/Nature´s Bounty. My thoughts are that if you get some decent boots for your build keep them and build the rest of the toon around it (mostly resistances). You have 3 sources for MI-Pants and 3 sources for MI-Rings to get the right ones for Ultimate.
Of Kings is a MUST because of its hp bonus and stun resistance, you should be okay with low stun resistance when doing only vanilla, but for nemesis/crucible we need at least 25% stun resistance or iron maiden/fabius will stun you to death.
Leathery Hide + Empty Throne give 40%.
Of Kings on either Pants or Boots bring that one up to 65 (on both Legging/Boots it max out or get you to 75 without Empty Throne)
Empty Throne is easy to get and if you are using any kind of Purple (Chariot of the Dead come to mind) 4 points for the 5 Purple is great. The other 3 Points all give 8% Resistance which aren’t lost.
Honestly I have exactly 0 piece with Of King and I run Crucible. I even fought a triple Fabius on Wave 150 and was able to win the fight so not even for Crucible it is a MUST. As a one on one 40% Stun Reduction is more than enough to win any fight.
