Twin Fangs (Bat Devotion) question

How does it work when binded to “indirect” damaging skills?
I mean, Storm Totem/Thermite Mines, etc.
Animation shows that those summoned things cast the Twin Fangs.

Does it heal caster or does nothing except the mentioned damage?
I guess, same thing is about Wendigo devotion power.

Pseudo pets like Totems and Devils can activate Bat. Since they are indestructible and don’t have health bars, they will heal you instead.

So the main criteria here is absence of health? And this means it works the same way for Blade Spirit/Guardian of Empyrion etc.?

As far as I know, yes. But note that Phoenix constellation for example work differently. There the absorb will go to your pets and not you. So game mechanics… :sweat_smile:

This causes an interesting question (or two) …

Let’s say I have a rather large horde of skeletons to which I’ve bound the Bat devotion:

  • Does the skeleton activating the devotion receive the healing, or does it go to the player, or does the most damaged skeleton unit in the horde receive the healing?

  • Does the devotion cool down apply if any one skeleton activates it, or does the cool down apply individually to each skeleton unit?

  • skeletons will heal themselves, not you.

  • cooldown is global. It will apply for all skeletons. No matter how much you have, you cannot activate it more frequent then the listed CD.
