Ulo The Keeper Of The Waters Life Leech Resistance Doesn't Match

Hello…
I’ve been playing around with my devotions and I noticed something that doesn’t seem right.

Ulo the Keeper of the Waters has a 30% life leech resistance.

I have it activated, but my stats only show 5% life leech.

I thought it was odd, because I had two 30% life leech devotions and it was only showing 35%.

If I remember correctly, you have a -25% to Life Leech Resistance in Ultimate difficulty.

Life Leech resistance gets a penalty of 25% in Ultimate. I always found that penalty to be rather random though.

I’m not positive, but I think the game considers Life Leech and Energy Leech to be “damage”, hence the reduction in those resistances. I’m guessing they are classified as secondary resists like Aether/Chaos resist…

Energy Leech resistance doesn’t get a penalty in Ultimate though.

I do wonder though: does Energy Leech resistance reduce energy burn damage? I would up that shit if it did just to be less annoyed when Fabius or Sentinel spawn with an energy burn weapon.
