Am I supposed to see 9 mobs (2 heroes first 30 sec, then 2 more spawn plus adds) all spawn at once during phase 2 when Ulgrim gets eaten?
I’m dealing 40k dps fire /burn primary dmg, chaos secondary, and all the while debuffing with CoF and Flashbang/Searing, yet the phase 2 mobs take almost no damage. Exactly WHAT am I doing wrong, here?
I have ~10k HP, 2229 Defensive ability, most resists at 56-74%, my chaos with a pot is at cap (83). So why am I getting hit for 5k a pop?
Never got hit, though. Soon as I get in 2-3 hits, I back off and let my dots do their magic, then deal with any tentacles/adds that pop (those little devourers are annoying).
I was all the way at the bottom of the acreen when Ulgrim got eaten, phase 2 started, and 2 Hero spawns popped up top near Log. I kited them around the bottom so I wouldn’t get doombolt stunned near the middle where he usually spews the chaos bombs that spawn more, but then two MORE hero adds spawned, then a few seconds after that non-hero versions of them spawned for a total ending of 9 at once.
What’s your spec? What’s your gear/dps/etc like? I fought him as an AAR warlock with the clairvoyant set and killed him on my first try with no deaths. As long as your vit/chaos res is capped and you pay attention to your hp you should be fine.
It DID take a while, though, still. Those heroes just kept spawning, so I made sure to wait for Log’s chaos AoE stun before running in, tagging him twice, then running back to the bottom to clear the trash.
But yea, looked like the 4th of July in there, all the flashbangs.
