Tried to remove devotion on Falcon Swoop and Vampire Bat, will not remove devotion saying “Constellation Dependencies: Affliction”. I am using Sadhina the Spirit Guide in Devil’s Crossing. These constellation prerequisites of Chaos and Ascendant are met in the crossroads, have over 1700 Aether Crystals and over 500,000 Iron Bits. Not understanding what is wrong
It is fulfilling its own requirements, so you cannot remove points from it until you raise your affinities.
I have points in the crossroads that fulfill the requirements for having the constellation. I have a similar situation in Jackal, but I can remove points from that constellation.
Crossroads is not enough to enable Affliction. If you break the completion bonus on Bat, you will not have enough Eldritch affinity.
Thanks for the speedy reply, still seem to have problem. Maybe I missed point, put points in Quill, was able to remove Falcon, but I cannot remove points from Bat or Quill, how can I reclaim all devotion points.
You must remove the points from Affliction first. It requires 4 green, 4 purple and 3 red to unlock. You need to remove the points from that constellation before you can remove Bat and Quill since Affliction is relying on those constellations to give you the necessary Affinity points to unlock it.
Just having a point in Crossroads doesn’t mean you unlock all constellations, only those we call tier 1 that just require one point in Crossroads to unlock them.
Affliction is a tier 2 constellation which needs one or more Affinity requirements to unlock it. So one point in the Crossroads constellation isn’t enough. Tier 2 need higher numbers in Affinity to unlock them which is why you need Bat and Quill to unlock Affliction. It also needs the purple point in Crossroads since Quill only gives you 3 of those.
Tier 3 constellations will require higher numbers of Affinity to unlock them.
