My villagers salvaged an outpost and then left all the materials out there including clothes and gold. I assigned 8 workers to salvage the post but nobody went to collect anything unless it was a building material. 147 gold siting out there with nobody collecting it and no way to click the item to direct workers to collect them.
A few turns later, everything disappeared from the site. Restarted the game. Grr!
Really old game, Dungeon Siege, did the same thing. Lots of loot just lying around, upon restarting all was gone. I wonder if all games do that?

Previous salvages have gone fine. This was the first time this happened. I wonder if the update had anything to do with it.
Laborers gather items dropped by raider camps. If they are overloaded with tasks or there aren’t enough laborers in town, then it will eventually get cleaned up by the game.
This wasnt a raider camp but one of the salvage sites that randomly pop up in game.
