Under -150 physical resist

So, I’ve been toying with Reaper of the Lost near Altar of Rattosh (rift that leads further to the story after Barrowholm quests are done), and I met Reaper there. He literally hit me for about up to 1k, but then, I went kind of too far to the Altar, and, suddenly, I had to face about 20, if not more, of those ghosts that reduce your resists all the time. When Reaper got to me, he hit for about 8+k, when I had ~8.6k HP, okay, no issues, I’ll just use my HP potion, Pneumatic Burst and Word of Renewal, so I kept kiting (because my Infiltrator is the aura motherfucker that I posted not so long ago, here in a tread about Malakor’s Infusion, and suddenly, after I opened my inventory, I had under -150 physical resist, when my “base” physical resist is 29%, and Reaper got to me hitting me for God knows how much. I died if you actually needed help in that. You can have up to -96% reduced physical resist when you’re facing one of Reaper’s wraiths and 3 random ones. This is so fucking bullshit and it literally pissed me off. Reaper is way too fast to even avoid his attacks (well this is not such a big issue when you have 135 movement speed), but the fact he spawns in tight locations just makes him sometimes impossible to beat.

Now small math, I was facing over 20 wraiths, because I was too fast for them and could not damage them by any means due to being forced to run around, and Reaper spawned two more of those, in general, there were “only 8” of these Ancient Wraiths, which reduce PASSIVELY physical resist by 24%. Reaper hit me with his Panetti skill before I got in range of them. So, 32 reduced all resists, now I got in range of 8 ghosts, 8*24 = 192 physical RR, add 32 to that, 224 physical resists reduced, take 29 off that (because of my own resist), -195 physical RR. Dude, that’s bullshit as fuck, and I only had slightly under -150, so two Wraiths didn’t touch me at all.

Either change the mechanic of those ghosts, or remove the slow from Reaper. It’s literally impossible to move around. Sure, if you deal enough damage, it’s fine, because you just sit there hitting like a truck and shortening the life span of Reaper in few seconds. I do understand that Reaper is the manifestation of Ravager, but let’s be honest here, Reaper on his own is literally as “hard” as Kuba, the Wraiths are what make him strong. I’d be fine if Reaper had in one of his attack modifiers a debuff for -30% physical RR, you’d at least have a chance to avoid it.

Oh, right, Reaper, or rather his Wraiths, also reduce your damage. No resists, low damage, all thanks to Re… no, WRAITHS. Please, make Reaper unique, an actual manifestation rather than a pussy that needs servants to reduce our resists and damage in order to do anything. I literally can facetank him with a bleedster with 9% physical resist and about 2.2k armor when he doesn’t spawn his Wraiths, if he does spawn them -> run and spam Devouring Swarm. This is literally the most boring Nemesis to farm (ye, his pants are useful, sometimes).

Thanks for listening.

TLDR: I am butthurt about Reaper being shit and Wraiths doing all his work.

Well Mogdrogen is also a bitch that rely on minions heavily, there are a ton of other enemies that like to do “bitch moves” in this game. To me the biggest bitches of them all are reflect mobs tho

Mogdrogen’s pets don’t do anything to you. The only thing they do is giving you a free life leech target if you use Siphon Souls.

There’s no RR nor damage reduction, they die fairly quickly due to being melee and have no auras. Mogdorgen is a summoner super boss that also uses normal hits. Mogdrogen is not trash without his pets, Reaper is. Your argument doesn’t make any sense in this thread as I do not talk about a boss relying on pets, but a boss being OP BECAUSE OF some random pets he spawns. If Reaper had no Wraiths spawn, he’d be one of the easiest, if not the easiest Nemesis in the game.

That would explain a (seemingly) random death I had with my 100 Defiler when a bunch of Wraiths appeared when running east of Barrowholm and then I got 1 or 2-hit out of nowhere with 13k HP.

I thought it might have been the Wraiths, but I never checked GT to see what skills they have.

They basically reduce some of your resists. They reduce physical resist by -24% passively, with an aura (6 meters range) and the same aura is applied after they die. The duration of this bullshit is 6 seconds.

Would be really nice to see such infos ingame in a bestiary.
