Unsummon Pet

With pets up until now, we had one pet summoned by one skill, so there was generally no reason to unsummon. However, with the new Raise Skeletons ability, it would be really groovy to be able to unsummon a pet with a targeted ability or at the mouse cursor location with a universal ability similar to Pet Attack. That would enable us to rid ourselves of baby skeletal warriors when we’re going for something stronger or more specific. It could also help get out a mage army if the player is focusing more on fire pet damage, etc.

Micromanaging 8+ skeletons might be a bit of a nightmare for most, but once we get high enough level pet gear, player level, and skeletons themselves, they might last long enough for us to get out our desired setup and leave it that way for most of the gaming session, save maybe nemesis and boss fights. Plus, those who don’t really care to micromanage can simply not use the ability =).

I think the problem with that, apart from any game mechanics difficulties, is that assuming you could unsummon one or more you would be resummoning 3 or 4 or however many the skill tree allows so you’re always going to have some that aren’t what your looking for. Plus there’s no guarantee that the one/s you want will stay on a resummons since you would have an odd number to the max allowed and you can’t pick which ones won’t disappear.

Better to max out the skill tree completely since that gives you better skellies all round no matter what type they are.
