Not quite sure where you’d build a town on it, but plenty of most resources by an initial look in the starting area.
Trying it out now on 1.0.
I think I found my town location! Lots of scouting early on to find good location.
1.0 changed it, from a pre-release Peninsula to an after-release Island.
It had a land-bridge less than ten spaces wide and covered a quarter of the map, surrounded by water.

TBH, “on an island” sounds more interesting than a central peninsula with a choke point, though I imagine you’ll probably have to use the scouting marker fallback behavior to find the outsides. On the other hand, I’m weird and don’t like having raiders linking up to all attack the same point.
Recommend a map that I think is pretty good.
