Hmm…
Kinda disappointed NeoCore Games (Van Hellsing Series and Death Trap) went with the “online only” model.

I tried it and got refunded a couple hours later. It looks like the devs are trying to please both casuals and hardcores, but the result is super weird. The game is slow and ugly, the cover system is clunky and barely useful, the mission system is boring and the gear looks uninteresting so far.
I know the game is in early access and there’s still a lot of stuff left on the roadmap but I don’t recommend buying the game right now. Better wait for the release and see.
Thank you for that. Seems they are aiming for a late 2017 release, but judging from the forums, I doubt they will be able to honour that. wouldn’t surprise me if they plan on postponing it until next year.
I also don’t like the online aspect, fine if the game was free to play, but it isn’t. From what I read they are planning to support the game for 2 years. (the focus been the end game content (which the game lacks it seems at the mo)
But I really don’t like the slow pace of the game, really wondering if the WH40K license was a good idea? granted they sort of got to stick with the lore, but the game just seems so dull from what I seen. But if the game is indeed dull, then I will avoid it, and see how it goes. But still, it could end up being yet another flop, and there been a few WH40K licences that failed to deliver on what they promised. This game could very well be yyet another failure. And despite what the devs say about online play, I still think it is a bad idea. (especailly when you are already paying a lot for it already)
The current aim is Q1 2018.
i wish they make it either bethesda or crate. its very cool idea
Damn that would be amazing
can you imagine a legendary glass bow
Its not upcoming buts its a decent + ARPG. Van Helsing final cut is only 1$ in the last humble bundle.
Better than D3 imo
“I’d buy that for a dollar”
Would be nice to see Bethesda get into the ARPG/Diablo-like arena with a Fallout of Elder Scrolls title. The old Fallout games were clunky but good for their time, so for Beth to put out a new title with modern design in either or both franchises could be really awesome.
Even better when it’s free, which you got if you already bought the three separate parts, but…the new ‘Final Cut’ ending act really sucked, so badly that I quit without finishing.

Okay I was wrong about Mu legend. There’s no action arpg in there, it’s a lot more mmorpg with a slight faster gameplay.
Seven: The Days Long Gone
Now has a release date of Dec.1st
Its looking nifty with stealth mechanics.
Check it.
Action — stealth
Bit late for the “upcoming ARPG”, but it see no-one mentioned this game:
Anybody tried it? Seems like a TL homage
