Would you update windows 7 to 10 in looking for better performance on grim dawn? With this specs: i5 2500k@4,5ghz cpu, 16gb ram+SSD +AMD rx570 gpu??
Should I worry about worse GD performance on Win10?
I will be glad to read your experiences here. Maybe some of you updated Windows and could share some thoughts.
I’ve not had any problems game-wise since I got a new Win10 machine. The game certainly runs smoother for me. I did have the occasional hiccup with my old Win7 machine, but it didn’t happen often.
My set-up:
•Intel Core i7-7700, 3.6 GHz Quad Core
•16 Go RAM DDR4 (2x 8 Go)
•SSD 256 Go PCIe NVMe M.2 + HDD 2 To
•NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, 3 Go GDDR5
•Graveur DVD
•Windows 10 Home 64
I put my games on the D drive.
Pretty sure Win10 is supposed to be better optimized for gaming in all aspects. Considering it is the newest OS for Windows, I assume Crate focuses on optimizing GD for Win10.
Personally I have had no issues running GD on Win10.
Playing on Win 10, don’t see any problems with performance.
