I am playing veteran after the mail quest line. I have a ton of scrap. Are there any reasonable uses for it besides selling? Making random magic items is a money sink with little reward from what I see.
It’s also used for repairing bridges which give you access to other areas in the game.
Mainly crafting, you will most likely run out of money before running out of scrap trying to get the desired rolls
BoC bridge costs 40 scrap. Other than that there’s no major demand.
Sometimes, you will want those random magic items with proper mods. Some of them can be very powerful for certain builds.
you will need ~ 2000 scrap to get an item with the affixes you want.

There is no real need for scrap but i would still not just vendor it.
With this mod you can put it into your stash and use it with diffrent characters.
Its nice to have to be able to craft some gear with new characters.
