Hello guys.
After the last update, i’ve noticed that all my temp shelters remain inhabitated during thw entire year. Villagers dont come into them anymore during winter time. In fact, they run forever to their houses downtown, even though theres a shelter right beside the mine.
Yep I have never seen anyone in a shelter but then I don’t recall seeing them used in 8.1 either. I have given up building them entirely.
The temporary shelters have been ignored since beginning (v0.7) At least in my case. Under v8.1a it remains the same…
Temp Shelters are an emergency option only when there is extreme weather and the villagers cannot safely make it back to town. So you will not see them used very regularly. We would like to improve how their use is communicated in the future.
They are a great option for faraway mining setups.
Thank you for this information. But in that way it is very time consuming as all work paused for quite long game time.
Nevertheless as you could see the above screenshot the construction site(wall) and sand mine is faraway from town. I spotted all 6 workers of sand mine coming back from town after cold wave…
This is another example of faraway mines and production buildings.
Workers have never used temp shelters there…
