Save started under 0.7.6p4.
I can’t put this in the play test forum, though I am playing [playtest] on steam. If this goes there, instead of here, maybe a mod will kindly move it.
- Graphics of planted items in field would go away. Fields still worked. Reloading fixed this. I did not notice a trigger, seemed to happen less often as game went on.
- Bind Analytics and Rotate Other were unset. I could bring up the dialog to set them, and it would warn me if I chose a key bound elsewhere, it would not bring up the “Apply Changes” and I could not set them to anything. I could change other bindings.
- Music would forget it was set to zero volume sometimes on load. Touching the settings bar would make it remember.
Gameplay Observations:
- No cooper/barrels! I suspect intentional, and was not bad. But, things started to get overfull in early Tier 3 faster than I could get around to upgrading them.
- Hunters seemed more responsive to wolves/boars early.
- Blacksmith inventory got “full” once it made 2 heavy tools. It would then not make any more. Since I bought heavy tools and made several tool using buildings at once I had a “heavy tool death wave”. Leaving the blacksmith with no heavy tools, and dead in the water. I waited two years and no trader bought heavy tools, at any price. Making two blacksmiths still seems mandatory, but you could still get caught in a “tool death wave”.
- The “Random” map, had exactly one spawn of willow, very far away and discovered late. At first traders bought baskets but not willow. So I bought baskets. Traders never did bring willow, and eventually stopped bringing baskets.
- Perhaps it was the difficulty, but as I got into Tier 3 I started often only having one trader per season.
- Upgrade of buildings at Tier 3 seemed slower.
- Bandit spawn was ok at this difficulty.
I didn’t get far enough to see traps (hadn’t upgraded), or barn at max cows (it was close).
