I think that giving up CoF and BoD to get Mirror is a lousy trade, and that IEE is a horrible idea for a single-element build.
ok… other question.
i got a druid with 50shaman and 15 arcanist. its nearly the setup im playing with.
http://grimcalc.com/build/1006-kbRGao thats my current build
im to lazy to lvl a new shaman and want to get a better working version of mine
maybe i’ll need to go back to melee… but then i gonna die to much in ultimate ^^
combined with the arcane storm set (rings + amu)
Is this build still viable? I got a conjurer to ~67 before taking some time off from the game but loved the look of this build.
I only just got my hands on a Vortex of Souls, but interestingly it doesn’t have the ‘100% chance to pass through enemies’ bonus… is this a change?
Yes, it´s still viable… very good build.
And Vortex of souls still 100% pierces, it just doesn’t show on the weapon
Thanks, good to know.
Any update for this build for new expansion?
It’s hella tricky to update this build, since it was made before Valbury and Crucible (let alone AoM) were a thing.
The easiest approach is upgrade all legendary parts to mythical versions and add green pants and boots: http://www.grimtools.com/calc/a2d10a8V
The other way is convert lightning to aether either through conduit or 2p Diviner + Magelord rings, but that will make large part of Ultos’ set useless and replacing it cuts OA and Primal Strike bonuses considerably.
The third way is go Savagery Vindicator and try to work something out of it. The result will not be as bombastic as Primal Strike, but can use WPS.
In any way, it won’t be a crucible farmer, if that’s what you meant by “updating”.
Guys is this build viable in the Ashes of Malmouth expansion and what changes should be made based on the presence of the AoM expansion?
It would not work well, maybe viable enough to complete Main Campaign, but it will struggle against new Nemeses (probably just get torn apart by Grava’Thul) and it will definitely die fast in Crucible.
For ranged Aether Savagery you can pick up Ritualist or Druid (but better pick up Ritualist), but it would be still a gimmicky build because there is no gear with Aether Savagery support except one Conduit mod.
