Hello, I’m kinda new to the game and I’m interest in this build. I have a question, I your first post you say “First, rush to OFF and max it.” what is OFF?
Hello. OFF is Olexra’s Flash Freeze - Arcanist skill on level 5 mastery. Its basicly a frost nova. It is very good on the first difficulty, because it is a (almost) screen wipe for trash mobs.

Running a similar build right now. Just entered elite and im having a hard time doing damage. What kind of weapon should i aim for between 40-50? Already have an Aldanar’s Vanity waiting for me.
If you have devastation maxed, you can kill bosses and champions pretty easy and PRM for the others.

I dont have it maxed yet unfortunately. But could you advise what sort of weapon to look for < level 65 ?
Anything with cast speed and aether/elemental damage is great. Luckily, the Black Legion has exactly that.
Decided to wait to continue mine to complete my faction reps on my other toon for the 100% rep mandates.
Still looking forward to it, but need that Devils crossing and rovers.

Yeah went with Kymon’s. I love those 15% lightning/fire augments. Keep in mind that Death’s Vigil has two good items for this build if you don’t have any other gear for it. Death’s Girdle belt and Death’s Ruin off-hand. So it might be a good idea to go for Death’s Vigil in normal if you don’t have any legendaries or a better off-hand.
I will have another character level 70+ so i should be able to find some stuff for the other character as well 
Will stick with Kymons as i have the 100% mandate.
This build is amazing. Everything I wanted in a pure caster. I just laugh at everything. My only deaths were due to reflect because I didn’t grab Mirror until Elite. Thanks for putting it together!
A quick question about the devotions. What skills are the Celestial Powers best linked to? I didn’t see it posted anywhere in this thread. I might have missed it.
I have an Albrecht’s Aether Ray Sorcerer that i’m thinking of converting over to this build.
I have leveled an AAR Sorceress to 85, so I can see this is a solid build. Good work.
I will probably put a single point to Thermite Mine for boss fights. Kind of a reliable free DPS, though nothing spectacular. The mines keep flaming for 60 seconds (?) so drop one and forget them for the rest of fight.
Arcane Bomb is bound to PRM, and you can put Ulo wherever you want. I put it on BWC. We already have Nulification so Cleansing Waters isn’t very important. I took that devotion for the resists, not the skill.
[i]Do you max all of the constellations listed? I’m at 45/50 and I am still looking @ Menhirs and the 1pt in Scales.
Again, this build is so fun. I’ve been playing it non-stop. 30-68 Monday D: 68-71 yesterday. So close to the rest of the set.[/i]

How does this build compare to a CT sorcerer, any better damage or tankiness? Playstyle, gear, and devotions seem quite similar.
I guess the extra range of pannetis compared to CT make it safer and allow for hit & run tactics against hard crucible waves &/or nemeses, compared to the “Callidorgrivix” version.
Guess it would struggle against gap closers like Phab & The aetherial nemesis that just get ‘in your face’
IF you hit from too far Devastation won’t hit tho, so they should still be very similar in mob engagement distance if they want to do good single target dmg
Its SUCH a pity that the huge -% fire resist debuff from OFF doesnt work at all on heroes & bosses … I wish they reduced it from -144% fire resist to like -50% at max ultimate ranks but that it worked on everything instead, even for only 3 seconds with no freeze on heroes (maybe just a slow or some kind of fumble à la Flashbang?)
I have a question about, not this build exactly, but a panetti’s build using Claivoyance’s set. It has a 10% chance to -100% CD skill. If you have a nice casting speed, you can have mirror of ereoctes every 5 seconds more or less, is it correct? can you be like a tank?

I was going to play around with Albrecht’s Duality and Blood Orb of Ch’thon, since you get the % chance CDR on Albrecht’s and the full conversion of Chaos to Aether, and Elemental to Chaos, meaning most of your damage goes straight to Aether. I’ll keep my Aldanar’s Vanity/Judicator’s Set when facing Aetherials.
I don’t follow. By casting speed do you mean CDR? By 5 mins or less do you mean 5 seconds or less? I’m thinking that you are under the assumption that the Clairvoyant set applies to ALL skills. It only applies to the skill that you cast. So every time you cast Mirror it has a 10% chance to have no CDR. Casting other spells does not affect the cooldown of Mirror.
While going for chaos/aether is a good idea for a build, conversion does not work that way. Any damage type can only be converted once, which means that after you convert the elemental damage on PRM to chaos, it does not then convert to aether.
