[v1.0.0.9] Cold Blademaster, Icy Terminator the Slightly Crucible God

I bet your level is about 30-50. So, in my opinion, is… if you have Cresent Moon or better weapon with good shield such as The Final Stop(Purple lv 50), Untouchable (Purple lv 58), you can switch into S&B. Having shield in Elite save you quite a lot. but in Elite, having more max Health is better than focusing on resistance though.

mostly my experience

  1. As you said, it is based on player’s control, true, I face-tanked several enemies and got killed. thus using Kiting and Dot in movement is crucial if I want to be Crucible God like you commented.

2.Items with resistance. I included that the shoes you talked about. I used it well with movement speed 8 % with 20-30 percentage resistance.

3.level up guide.

that’s it! i am done with translating ur guide.

Some Koreans thank you and me for this guide though :stuck_out_tongue:

by the way, i added something that I also use Markovian’s Defense for Overguard, even though it decreases total damage, yet because it reduce cool down time for Overguard which is critical in my opinion. thus I won’t say it must, but it is not bad choice to use Markovian’s Defense since this build has already have huge dps to deal enemies.

Just wanted to say I loved your Crucible DEE build but this has taken over as my favorite. Thanks for putting this out there for everyone. Good stuff

What order should I get Devos while leveling? I wanna try this out and compare to Drizz’s DEE build to see which one I like more for my first 85

For a first 85 character i would recommend DEE witchblade because it is far less gear dependant than this one, tho SS gameplay is far more entertaining to my taste. In any case you should play whatever you like the most. :>

I have to say: Thanks for this build. I learned a lot trying to apply this build to a char and yes i have to agree, that it is very item heavy. However i was able to finish Gladiator Crucible Mode (on first try) without having all off the recommended items.

Instead of:

Shield: Siegebreaker; i used Vanguard of the Legion

Trowsers: Empowered Legplates of Valor

Chest: Empowered Nighthunter’s Chestguard

Shoulders: Deathmarked Shoulderguard

I hope this will help some people to make use of this build earlier

P.S.:I might have been slightly lucky with the nemesis spawns in crucible :stuck_out_tongue:

Can I bound Beronath’s Fury to Whirlpool? I didn’t take Ring of Steel, cause I don’t go to Crucible. My priority - single target damage in main campaign.

I messed up and sided with Death’s Vigil in Ultimate, so I can’t farm Zantarin for the leggings. Do I have any other options?

Zantarin doesn’t drop leggings, at least he doesn’t have exclusive leggings. He drops exclusive shoulders.

You can get the leggings in the OP’s first post by farming Guardian of Solael from the Hidden Path quest. Or do you actually meant Zantarin shoulders?

My bad, I meant shoulders

If you have the Crucible DLC they can drop there. Or make another character to farm him.

how bad was the nerf on this build? after 1.0.0.1.0?

As I understand it is a 30% total loss in damage output.

worth playing after the nerf? or it’s too slow now? is there anything better now? or it’s still the top build.

That is up to each individual player:p

Personally i never liked SB or cold BM much and pierce SS BM which i do like is way below SB/Cold BM, for my taste. So ti’ll xpac hits and does something interesting I for one have no desire to play any of the two.

What would you change for a hardcore build if anything?
Blademaster is my favorite and im new to hardcore.

How did you get 484 spirit with 21 points in spirit?

http://www.grimtools.com/calc/bVAAj1VD

Same devotions, point distribution, and 466 spirit. Same as in-game. None of your gear/augments give spirit.

Check components, especially one added on amulet

Thanks, only checked the ususal suspects, ammy and medal ususally auto defaults to aether/chaos rez. Also, grimtools acted weirdly when I started to remove stuff to see where the spirit came from, and didn’t properly udpate. I wonder about that focusing prism though, it won’t solve the energy problems in crucible, the spirit can be made up with two additional points in spirit (that’s what I did). Does that extra crit damage warrant giving up the reduced dmg from black tallow?

More or less it comes to personal taste and personally if able to cap chaos res w/o black tallow I would never use it as a amy component so for me focusing prism and black tallow are not even comparable in their utility.
