You don’t lose Devotion leveling progress.
Didn’t take the skill, as sfbistimg said, I only took the first four nodes which result in substantial health gains.

Pic with 6666 critical? And you say power of the heavens?
I dont trust this
Nerd time: 616 is the number of the beast, not 666.
Blame evil medierra.
Did you pick Mantle of Mogdrogen mainly because of the Skill??
I think there is some very good options for shoulder, maybe even batter, like Ultos’ Spaulders, Dawnbreaker’s Shoulderguard, Divinesteel Shoulderguard, Flame Keeper’s Pauldrons.
And they are way easier to get.
For the skill, health, lightning damage, and offensive ability. These are all stats the build really wants/needs and you can get them independently from different sources, but Mantle of Mogdrogen is the only one to offer all of them.
As it’s so difficult to obtain, however, my personal alternative recommendations would be either the Clairvoyant’s Mantle (health, OA, Total Damage, Resists) or the Dawnbreaker’s Shoulderguard (health, Lightning Damage, Resists).
I’ve been meaning to update the first post with alternative gearing information, but haven’t had the time to. Perhaps this Thursday…
Thanks Ceno
Already know that build Ill do after I have the time to finish ultimate and farm Nemesis to get some Warrants
I found a blueprint recipe for the Desolation relic and I’m wondering if it’s worth trying to complete. At level 50, I’m still wearing Calamity.
Desolation isn’t terrible, but its not great either. Would only recommend it if you wanted to shoot for an Eye of the Storm instead of Oblivion further down the line.
Hey Ceno, great job on finishing this build and sharing final result with us, building my first GD character using it and having alot of fun. Just one small request: can you please share the final save with us, there are some changes from previous version of the build, so I want to have some action using final char (mine is not even 50 currently, so I am kinda impatient to do some serious damage). Cheers!
Since I have so few blueprints, only being on my first run-through, I don’t know what’s available. Basically, what you’re saying, is it’s a choice between offense (Eye of the Storm) and defense (Oblivion)?
I will share the save at some point, though I’m a little hesitant to. The save has access to some, err… secret areas that may spoil some things for people who download it. So I think I want to give a bit of time for more people to find such things before releasing the save publicly.
Essentially, yeah.
I just wanted to say I bought grim dawn a week or two ago. I’ve made multiple characters ranging from level 20-40 and man I LOVE this build. Face tanked warden, loving the dual wield and teleporting around the map like a boss.
It feels like my favorite character from D2 ( the assassin ) I’m officially happy
If i knew how to grim calc i’d show you what I’ve been building I am doing the skill distribution a little differently. Same skills just different point allocations for now it will all end up the same though!
Oh, secrets, secrets! Thanks anyways, back to levelling my char.
I just got to the Wightmire rift (in Elite), and I’m wondering what I should be working on… resistances, health, armor, DPS, or…? When I started Elite, I switched out some DPS gear for resistance gear. My DPS dropped by 900 (I was just over 10,000) but at least none of my resistances are negative, now
I’d say to start focusing on Health at this point. Your dps is in a fine spot for your level.
I plan on getting Behemoth for the health, but that’s several shrines away.
So I’ll look for +HP% gear. Does any faction have +HP augments?
Hello, new player here.
I’m leveling a char.
Looked at your guide, and I’m too autistic to understand your leveling links.
Sometimes you take 3 in Vindictive Flame ( http://grimcalc.com/build/GHn9tT ) and sometimes only 1 in Vindictive Flame ( http://grimcalc.com/build/tfdBa9 ). Sometimes Explosive Strike is skipped ( http://grimcalc.com/build/GHn9tT ) while you DO get Searing Strike, and then in other links ( http://grimcalc.com/build/tfdBa9 ) you get both regardless.
Say wut mate?
Am I missing something?
Thanks
<3
You generally want these for jewelry later on.
Rovers have a lot of good stuff in general.
I have a question: Why the fuck do you torture yourself with the default keybinds? Is it related to your masochistic tendencies?
Yes, because we all modify the key binds.
I do not understand the revenance of key binds… odd
