So, focus on soldier skills, CADENCE as main attack and when I can, switching from whatever firearm was the strongest to dual wielding revolvers, hehe ^^
Gameplay for now is very different than my previous melee commando, not as destructive and I play mostly like you’d play ranged carry in League of Legends, kiting - shooting enemies while running away from them.
Nothing splashy so far, ForceWave and Blitz were so much more fun to play than Cadence, but I’m sure this build will eventually become more fun when my attack speed improves and everyone starts dying and shaking my screen ^^ hehe
Finally I’m able to dual wield guns, luckily got gunslinger jacket at lvl 22 before having to go gunslinger relic. Btw, is there a better relic to take now, since i can duel with via jacket?
BUT !!
I was unpleasantly surprised…
dual wielding actually drops my dps !? O.o
why is that…
see the comparison on pictures
Depends. Warlord is good physical build, so maybe Calamity is better choice. Also Gunslinger Talisman for when you want to upgrade coat could work. Are you planning to dual wield all the way through?
yeah, visually more appealing, more satisfying to shoot with 2 guns especially since I need attack speed for 3rd shot to proc cadence, my gameplay changed so much once I got 2 guns.
I finished assasin’s blade on devotion, now I go for ghoul ?
but since we are here, I have another question, how did he get Hydra and Chariot of the Dead since they require 5 green dots and I don’t see any other constellation giving him those? 0.o
He put points into another constellation that gave him the required 5 to unlock them and then removed the points from that constellation as they would be self-sustaining then. So he could have put points into Raven for example to get 5 completion points from that, then done Chariot and Hydra which both give you 3 each completion points - making 6 in all - and then visited the Spirit Guide to buy back the points from Raven.
mhm, ok nice… I’ll have to do a little thinking , as suggested spider would be good, 5 green points upon completion, then later I’ll see it if stays or goes.
seems nice, previous guide I posted didn’t want to use Markovian advantage and zolhan’s technique like this one does, my guess is because cadence overides those effects every 3rd strike so its not that effective ?
I can put just one point in both of them to proc occasionally and so that +skill items can raise them too if I get those. (stuff like +1 to all soldier skills)
Soldier wps will still get you firing twice rather than hoping for the non-wps dual wield chance to shoot twice. Speeds up cadence shot cycling to the internal limit
I’m curious what you mean by this, as well. So you’re saying that if a wps procs then it counts as 2 attacks, thus guaranteeing that next attack is a cadence strike?
Yep! E.g. if you’re wielding pistols, WPS will count as two shots when they trigger, causing the 3rd cadence shot to come up quicker. Iirc from the last big cadence test there is some internal cooldown to prevent it from going super nuts, but it’s still considerably faster than no WPS or using a 2 hander
