no, it gets “lowered” because your max HP increases as a temp buff, and teh constitution doesn’t automatically go up to follow the new max hp but stays at the original max, same should happen with other similar buff hp increases.
Also irrelevant since constitution is basically irrelevant these days, and the raw HP bonus is well way more worth than any impact it has or would have on constitution
I made a test. I used Word Of Renewall until the constitution bar ran out. What happens is that when maximum health increases, constitution is used to make up the difference between the original value and the increased value, as if it were being used to heal the character. Thats how it ends depleted.
recasting WoR over and over does not keep depleting the constitution meter…
only the initial change of max hp does, because it stays at the original old 100% max hp, but now you have 10X% max hp and the constitution doesn’t auto follow that change since it’s a buff
^unless you’re waiting to recast WoR after the first buff expires - which obviously you should not not
and again, is still basically irrelevant since constitution is meaningless as mechanic these days, and the flat HP buff Vigor gives is 3000% more valuable than any constitution impact
what you could do/should suggest is WoR gets fixed so constitution gets “reset”/follows up to new 100% max hp change

Naah, it’s actually pretty nice QoL for low level characters that haven’t established their sustain yet. I remember what it was like in early levels of TQ, having to wait for pot cooldowns all the time in between fights. It felt wonderful when I was starting off with GD to never have to do that. Hell, I still use Constitution at endgame to recover between boss fights without chugging pots, eliminates a lot of downtime.
But yeah, suggesting that Inquisitor lose a hefty source of toughness cause it messes with Constitution of all things is crazy talk.
