My villagers are flocking to this spot as fast as they spawn and starving themselves to death, meanwhile I have food rotting in the cellars. I’ve cycled through every flag and can’t find a reason why they’re moving there at all. They’ve ignored a raid, a bear, a boar, any attempts at flagging them elsewhere, etc. What is going on?
Might be a pathing problem. Did you have a villager die up there? If so the others are probably going to fetch the body and getting stuck themselves.
Not until they started starving themselves up there, no. After a reload I can manually order them to move as normal, but they still won’t eat, work, etc. I just have a block of villagers standing next to a full food storage and dying one by one.
