I had a heavy infantry that was infected with rabies. He garrisoned and didn’t try to seek medicine or go to the hospital that i had build.Tryed to walk him to the hospital manually but he just stood near it.In the end he garrisoned again and after a while died there…Also had few cases in remote buildings like hunter cabins or forager shacks were villagers suffered from dehydration.Unless i build a well nearby the just died from dehydration even if i try to manually walk them near existing well.I think this should be addressed either automatically in their behavior or there could be option to manually put them into free slot in the hospital just like assign them on mines, working buildings and so on.
There is no treatment for rabies in the Frontier times.
Access to water is based on sources near the residence. Manually commanding a villager to water will not work. Can bring a horse to water, as they say.
I learned this one a long time ago, there is always a well near a mine or a pit, every emergency shelter has a well, there are wells near towers which are out in the boonies. Now I place a shelter and a well at staggered locations along any road which takes more than a game time day to move along, usually out to those self same towers, mines and pits as well as any ruins or raid camps. I do not place a storage facility anywhere along those roads as they attract raiders.
i seem to encounter a similar issue, but with everybody just standing around in the middle of winter, slowly freezing to death.
and while i do enjoy the new “activities” for the settlers, when all of em go off and the production grinds to a halt, i wonder if that’s really how it was intended.
I wish we could execute villagers chatting and taking a break
In the above picture you should notice that the building does not have enough sand for any work to be completed. The required amount per the recipe is 12 sands while the building only has 5 in it’s storage and from the looks of all the workers, you do not have enough sand in global storage for them to pick up at that moment in time.
I see you can think that, but at that time in the game there was over 200 sand in my settlement, and no other industries using any. not a single one of them even attempted to “stock glass maker”.
However, I find the various settlers just standing around in the middle of winter, slowly freezing to death a more unnerving matter.
After a while, one after the other starts dropping dead of exposure, even if they’re a stone’s throw from their homes.
