Since I’m a praetorian I had early access to some of the contents of the new expansion. One of my favourite items was the Scorv’s Glyphs helm. Not only it looked good, but had one of the dopest skill modifiers for pets in the entirity of the game. Controlling wendigos is probably the coolest thing to ever come to Grim Dawn.
The road to making this build was not easy tho. The thing wasn’t dropping; even tho Z said the drop was ok, it was proved later it was bugged. I also had to wait a couple of weeks after the launch of the third expansion to post the video. Anyway, I wanna thank @the8anarchist for the help getting the helm and the rest of the praetorians who endured me screaming to the clouds for days that the drop was bugged. Also, thanks @paleclaw for the idea of using wendigo totem to boost pet damage.

Min-maxing ascended bonuses will sure boost this. Also, those times were recorded before I made the change to Wendigo Totem.
Guide on how to farm Scorv’s Glyphs even tho you want to befriend Barrowholm for its augments:
- Unfriend them on normal/elite.
- On ultimate, go straight to his location in Asterkarn; farm the helmet.
- Once you get the item, progress the story normaly and when you find Scorv on Barrowholm, befriend him.
Levelling:
This build is pretty easy to level; this is the case for most pet builds, really.
Levelling with pets is pretty fluid, you can easily change things along the way so don’t take this small session as law. Sometimes a good drop will change everything levelling-wise.
Start by maxing out Briarthorn and Hellhound, picking up debuffs like Curse of Frailty and buffs like Blood of Dreeg and Bonds of Bysmiel. Also pickup stuff from Shaman, of course. Don’t spend attribute points as soon as you get them, since they can (and will) be useful helping you equip items. Prioritize items that have the “Bonus to all pets:” stat on them.
I guess this is it for now, if you want more details on the levelling aspects of pet builds in general, I believe @Maya’s guides are the best. Kudos to every creator that do levelling builds and guides; I sure appreciate their efforts - people normally don’t get how much work goes into making guides, even more levelling ones.
