Wall tool salvage option does not work on stone walls

When using the wall tool to select a set of stone walls, the salvage button is enabled, and asks you to verify that it is okay to salvage the selected walls. The problem is, nothing is salvaged. The walls remain. You have to select them one at a time and salvage each square manually.

I cannot reproduce this. What are the conditions for making this happen?

I had stone walls surrounding an upgraded watchtower. I began to move the watchtower to another location. Then I hit X to open the wall tool. Next I selected the stone walls surrounding the watchtower and chose the salvage option. I was then asked to confirm my choice. The walls should have been deleted with stone left behind, but they were not. Then I selected a single wall piece and was able to salvage it manually. I then proceeded with the rest in the same manner.

This happened in p5 but was fixed in 0.8.0. Which version are you playing?

0.8.0p5 so yes, I’m still on the playtest branch. What other fixes were made before pushing it to live?

same bug here. Clear doesn’t work either. If I have a wall and select it all
then do salvage nothing happens. It started in p5 for me. If I do a clear
nothing happens as well.

If you are still opted into the playtest, you are missing the final fixes we released the update with. v0.8.0 on the main branch is the official release.

Properties → Betas → None… set.

We’ll push the live build to playtest so everyone that has remained opted in will be up to date.
