Some ideas for modding walls.
Since parallel walls do not ‘weld together’ anymore,
an option to add ‘Rammed Earth’ between a double-wall defense
as a way of both, strengthening against melee & ranges attacks, and joining the two walls making them ‘walkable’, so that defenders can access the ramparts for defense of the town
This would require the creation of stairs or ladders to access the top of the new walkable wall, and would also add the need for Crenellation.
If a triple-wall set up is employed, the option to add hoarding, for superior ranged cover for defenders is the next logical step.
Additionally, a way to fuse the end of walls to ‘unwalkably-steep’ inclines, to prevent enemy incursion at points where we’d like a wall to abut to the extra steep ground where we’ve created grade separation with the terrain tool.
