War Cry and its mods

As we all know, WC has a cd of whooping 7.5 seconds with RR lssting only 5. A pair of phys helms give -3 sec cd but that’s it.
Most damage mods I remember (burn/bleed) have dot duration of 3 sec mostly.

So, the real question is: should WC’s cd be lowered to 5 sec altogether and then rr/dot duration adjusted accordingly?

yes, or DR duration gets upped

not necessary i think, i mean, any WC dmg mod/dot mod currently “op” or even strong as is?

as for RR, considering pretty much only phys builds take WC for RR, and most of those phys builds probably take warborn/flesh helmet anyway, would it really matter that much?

again alternatively just up DR to 7 secs, keep helmet cdr mods and RR values as is, mebe up DoT modifiers to be somewhat build relevant ?

DoT mods for War Cry are fine, as you will usually have plentiful bonus duration to keep it up permanently. The main thing here is the default War Cry. Both resistance shred and damage reduction have only a 66% uptime by default. And any Soldier who wants the War Cry bonuses will generally have a very hard time scrouning up any %CDR at all. So we have 2 extremes of the default vs 100% uptime with the flat cooldown reduction mods on items.

Personally, I’d lower the base cooldown a bit (6.5-7 seconds, 71-77% uptime) and also lower the flat cooldown on the helmets by the same amount, to close the gap.

Not sure if “strong”, but Mark of the Farseer on my Bleed Blademaster is actually super nice. Pivoted to it from my original plan of using Mark of Consumption. It can melt trash enemies in a couple seconds on its own and War Cry hits the entire screen. Super convenient.
