I am currently playing a lvl 28 warder on veteran difficulty. I only have about 18 hours logged in and my first character was a sorcerer that is now lvl 23. I’m still getting use to the game and playing my warder on normal was too easy so i’ve been playing on veteran from the warden all the way up to where I am at now which is on prospecters trail to homestead. I’m starting to have a hard time surviving now as mobs just tear at my health. I was going for a lightning based warder that deals as massive amount of damage as possible. Does anyone have any suggestions for survivability? I’m also using a two handed melee. Here are my skill points and devotions. http://grimcalc.com/build/kUsiAF
You are using three different primary attacks in your build. Pick one and focus on it.
For example if you want to use a Phys/Bleed build with Blade Arc as your main attack, you can spec like this: http://grimcalc.com/build/0nENVT
Use Devouring Swarm on enemies and then just use Blade Arc.
If you want to focus on Lightning Damage with a 2-handed weapon, you can use a build like this: http://grimcalc.com/build/kUsiAF with the goal of working up to level 25 in Shaman -> Storm Surge.
It’s never a good idea to spread yourself out too thin. First think of what build you want to have (two handed or one handed with shield, lightning or phys/bleed/trauma) and then try to focus on supporting that build.
Warders that use a 2H weapon usually try to get some Devotions that help with survivability. Working towards Behemoth in the bottom left corner is popular since focusing on health regen is good for wardens survivability.
