How does % energy absorption from enemy spells help with survivability? From what I understand, this doesn’t actually reduce damage. Is this build without storm reaver really that mana hungry? I guess it does use up mana for blitz/war cry/wendigo totem.
Also, how good is devotion skill Tsunami? Wind devil damage doesn’t seem that great. Anyone think its better to drop it entirely and just move elemental storm to cadence? The damage from elemental storm is basically DOT damage and elemental resistance debuff. Tsunami can fit on another skill like Feral hunger but it won’t proc much.
I put Devotion because my meta for this build was to get Behemoth+Spear of the Heavens, doing that you just have 5 points which the only thing worth that was Crown’s, but I changed alot my build.
And more damage its because the 30% enemies elemantal resistes, which in this game makes a HUGE difference that, and yeah, its 30%.
Tsunami its shit, Its just a pre-requisit to Spear of the Heavens, which a devotion I like alot, the cooldown its less than 1 second, nice AoE and manily STUN, you will always stun the mobs over and over again, which helps alot when comes to you alot mobs.
Wind Devil isn’t a skill to deal damage, its a skill to proc and lower enemies resists, 30 from Ranging Tempest its 30% enemies elemantal resists reduction and also its the best guild of this game to proc.
Because Wind Devil hits twice per second, and you can summon 3, and lives 12 seconds, so, will always proc alot iten’s and devotion and also isn’t a skill which you need to type like a retarded and hurst your hands, likes grasping wines.
You just type one time every 5 seconds, thats it.
Cadence ? You are playing as lighting not physical, and Savagery its batter than Cadence for this build / gear.
But I changed my devotion, Im using now back Falcon and Charriot, Ill gonna lauch now and update.
Dude, don’t worry it will be fine Thanks for a nice build, it would be really nice if you continue your support and discussion about your version of warder.
After I read your post I made a new char and started to collect neccessary items to test it out. I have them all! But before we get to 75 lvl though there is long trip before us and some guide regarding skills and aproach to get there would be a very nice addition.
What I suggest is to start as vit/bleed shaman, stack as many dmg on items you can get, use mainly locust, totems with blood pact and wendigo to kill mobs. For defence get madrogen pact and some early soldier passives. As devotions take those that give additional vit/bleed dmg, f.e. Bat, Galovs, Bohemot -> Wendigo
Later on when you ready just respec, for devotions use potion of clarity that reset all points and for skills the guy in the city.
I tried to play as shaman/soldier using cadence, prmial strike but it is not fun and very slow.
I have leveled an old character which is 75 now so i’m thinking of tweaking it.
After analysis, I have made the same devotion as GC as i ended at the same conclusion. Maybe i will tweak it more later.
For stuff, i have chosen Judicator’s set at final. I 'm thinking about the open ones for reduc resist, but after some comparaison cause i’m looking for pierce resist, the second ones is not so bad. Do you have any comments or ideas ?
For boots, i’m looking mainly for Golerm Greaves also for pierce resist and overall stats which are quite good.
For medal i went for BoM as i have one good roll with 5 SAVAGERY
I have some trouble about resist reduction :
does the augment (kymon or others) will stack with the open ring ? I don’t know if the details from gracefull are good or not as they are both n% reduced res. ?
Any idea to optimize the build it self ? How is important Menhir’s will & Fighting Spirit and at what level do i have to set it ?
For Judicator’s set, my first analysuis was i want to use the open hand for reduc resistance. After analysis, the second part provide some OA, pierce resist and the bonus gave attacks speed.
I have thinked about the Crownleys rings, but don’t have a good combo now but it could be a good up if i find good ones.
In this case, what should replace the reduc resist from the open ring ?
For boots, as i used mainly Golem for pierce resist, maybe if i find good Crownleys, it could be a good replacement to go for the Stormtitans.
For now i don’t have the Black Legion reput at max for AETHER / CHAOS resist, but i think with my current set up, i will be in position to max nearly all resist but have a lots of improvement it could be done.
For builds, many thanks for your advice. you prefer Wendigo over War cry ? I’m thinking about warcry for crucible
I don’t bother with WC unless I’m using an item that refreshes cooldowns, ever since it got nerfed hard 5-ish versions ago. Even then, it’s only good for a PRM Battlemage with Aldanar’s Vanity. Any melee build can use the Kymon augment, reducing the effectiveness of WC since the 10% from augment and 25% from WC don’t stack. A physical dmg Warder/Commando/WB using the Markovian set will already be indestructible, negating the need for the 20% increase in effective hp. A Blademaster would love to be able to spend points on WC, but he is so starved for skill points there is no way to fit it in.
So I’ve followed this guide to the letter (with the exception of the left hand ring you have there, which I am using a duplicate Glyph I got), and I am still abysmally short on resists, which belies the pic you put up on pg 1 of the guide.
With the gear you listed, the components you stated, and the augments required, I wound up, with buffs on:
Fire: 83 (46 over)
Ice: 83 (87 over)
Lightning: 94 (205 over)
Poison: 76
Pierce: 64
Bleed: 87 (28 over)
Vitality: 62
Aether: 75
Stun resist: 53
Chaos: 79
Now, not having whatever ring you have on the left hand doesn’t explain the shortages I came up with in Ultimate. As a result, I’m getting stomped by anything other than elemental dmg, and I can’t seem to figure out a solution on how to shuffle things around to get my resists up any higher, and the ridiculous overages on the others down.
