Hi, almost finished to plan my 1st build, though a question remains.
I found some informations regarding weapon swaps and cooldowns, but not durations. Let’s say I proc Moment of Clarity and then swap the weapon. Will I keep the bonus for 8 seconds or does it stop as soon as I swap?
It will disappear and additionally the cooldown on the proc will probably freeze until you switch back to it.
Basically you need to be holding the item for the skill to activate and still be active.

There are a few things you can do with weapon swaps though.
For example, I’m running a character with 2 Riftstones in the swap, one of them is put in an Aldanar’s Vanity which has a chance to lower CDs on crit. The latter even works on items from skills.
Between the 2 Rifts, CD reset from both Aldanar’s and Time Dilation, you can get an almost endless string of charges going.
Good to know, you mean that you use both Riftstones in 2nd option to chain the leaps and move faster on the map?
I was mainly planing to swap weapons for Lichguard and Menhir’s Will, saving my future sorry dual-wielder’s ass from troublesome situations. Though please, don’t tell me how good/bad it is, I’m preparing for a noob-in-grimdawn hardcore challenge, starting the game without relying on people’s builds and personal advices. That riftstone thing is already a huge spoiler I shouldn’t have read

Good luck with your challenge, I think that’s a good way to play for a first playthrough, that’s how I did it too.
