I have tested both setups in Crucible Gladiator (though not extensively) and I have really hard time telling which way is more effective. It seems that CoF triggers Twin Fangs more frequently, but I can’t really tell if Wendigo Mark is more effective on Bloody Pox or on CoF, mainly because I strugle to say when monsters get Wendigo Mark on because of how much is going on on the screen.
Any opinions for players who used those Skill/Constellation procs combos?
I don’t have any input on those skills, but when I’m doing testing with different devotions/skill combos, I always pick a large slow-moving boss that I can reliably use. I’ve never played the crucible DLC, but I’ve seen videos and it seems pretty hectic at times and I wouldn’t think it would be good for testing.
I struggled with the same thing with my Conjurer. I settled for Wendigo’s Mark on Pox because it has no cooldown. I put Twin Fangs on Storm Totem, and I put Eldritch Fire on CoF because it also has no cooldown, but chaos isn’t my primary focus.
yeah, i am still not sure how Bloody Pox animation look or how it works exactly. Same with Wendigo Mark, why does it have 8 seconds duration and no dot damage? And how does it look, little blue crosshair over the monster’s head?
The red skulls are Wendigo’s Mark. The blue skull with crossed swords is Mark of Ch’thon (from Fang of Ch’thon), and the purple skull is Black Mark (from Orb of the Black Flame).
