I feel Wendigo Totems are a bit too limited to be enjoyable as a skill, as a suggestion:
- Life Tap dmg works when the player is not near the totem
- The totems can be placed a further 1m away than currently
This change would be nice as well once Sigils is rebalanced.

I see, I seem to miss the dmg attack “animation” when compared to standing next to it.
that’s probably the heal aura animation i guess, since that only works if in range (green pulsing ring)
lifetap seems like it might just be its passive fx, the red “fog”/swirl around totem (it kinda has drawing outside in direction)
Yeah exactly.
Its very easy to miss the tap dmg being applied at range even with only a few things happening.
Was it always like this or a change, I thought way back it didnt do dmg without the caster nearby.
As a suggestion:
Maybe the totem itself should pulse red when applying the tap dmg, although maybe this ends up with a lot of glow when going full attack in a small area on celestials.
Or could an animation be applied when caster is not standing in range of the pulse heal.
