Whenever I’m in the raven form and use Flames of Ignaffar while being close to a target, there is a high chance the damage will not register. The issue occurs at least since 1.3.0.6 and is still present in 1.3.0.8. This is most noticeable against enemies with small / slim character models but can occur against any target.
I also tested wereraven + conflagration relic and it seems to work fine, I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue for a few minutes. So it’s most likely exclusive to Flames of Ignaffar.
Older video from the 1.3.0.6 version (can only post 2 links as a new user, but I have more examples, maybe later I will edit them into a single video):
in Werewolf form it’s even worse, you can’t even hit the dummy when you stand in front of it and start casting, the arms are reaching out beyond the dummy.
Wereraven can hit the dummy with FoI most of the time, you gotta get really close (eg. by leaping or evading) for it to miss. Out in the field however it misses all the time when fighting human- or wasp-sized monsters.
Ineed it’s even worse in the werewolf form. I also tested Conflagration relic which also has that animation and it still works in werewolf form. So it’s probably an Issue just with Flames of Ignaffar.
AAR has an AoE around it that’s larger than the skill’s graphics, I think it’s the same for Conflagration. At least that would explain why Conflagration can still deal damage when the werewolf is reaching over the dummy.
