So I have a pretty solid tank, with 2600 DA, 20% damage absorption, 79-80% in all damage resists and 35% physical resists and 12K HP.
When fighting both of these bosses, I get them to about 25% health uneventfully, and all of a sudden, I go from nearly full health to 0.
What are they doing when they get near death that is so devastating? Is it a dispel? My other character never ran into this when fighting them, but he may not have relying as much on buffs.
I assume they are both human and therefore can have the possibility of equipping some pretty awesome items.
I still remember a fight with Salazar who had some sort of AoE Vitality proc and the old version of Guardsman’s Spaulders which gives a sizeable heal at low health.
With such high DA and resists, it seems a little far fetched they could kill me so instantly. But who knows, things are still early.
When I went back after logging out, I walked all over them. Earlier today, I ran up against a boss Yeti near the shrine of Mogdrogen, which near the end of the fight, starting hitting ridiculously hard. I opened up my char sheet to see my DA was showing 0. After about 20 seconds, it went back to normal.
Is there an ability to drop your DA to 0? I was thinking that was a bug, but I don’t know for certain.
I don’t think there are any, you should take a screenshot and fire a bug report.
I got one-shotted twice in AoM by the tree boss and Larria. In both case I got hit by some kind of blood orb shotgun, in the case of Larria it came from the totem nearby (don’t know what to call it).
Now, and this doesn’t appear to be a bug, and what I was wondering if those other 2 did, I was facing a large pack with 2 bosses of Void Taskmasters, which are super fast. All of a sudden, a big flash happens, and I am debuffed. What sick dev thought to have a pack of hard hitting, super fast Taskmasters, and put in 2 bosses, 1 which can nullify every few seconds.
I survived, but the crazy part was how they also ran through you, and surrounded me, so it was almost impossible to get out and rebuff.
That’s not a boss, ~ Arcane heroes have an EMP attack that nullify you, it is known. And I think they even nerfed the cooldown significantly in the hotfix.
Sorry, I meant hero. Every 10-15 seconds is still pretty fast. The difficult part is they come in a large pack with these taskmasters which have closers and surround you almost instantly, in tight quarters. The normal response is to run, but it was nearly impossible to do that.
