What build are you guys planning to make for conquering the new and upcoming mode in FoA the Ascendant?

Personally I’m waiting for some more information about how to summon wolves, then build around that or I’ll go for a necromancer.

The first thing I am gonna do it to recreate our dear leap barbarian
using leap skill and a leap rune

Then I am gonna do our favorite fury wolf druid, a meele tank in wearwolf form

Also the channeling cold “aura” skill looks fun, hurricane druid in Grim Dawn let’s go.

You ever did one of those with nightwings veil, Doom berserker axe and infinity merc in d2?

I only used that helmet for my cold sorcerer. Didn’t really enjoy that with the paladin or combined it with the merch. Maybe depending on the build yes.

I’m currently building a cold necromancer army in D2R, options are limited though but I’ve made hell difficulty and is level 80 act 1 hell.

I’m always playing on players 8 for boosting experience, and switch versus certain bosses to bypass drops.

People don’t really talk about it, but D2R is actually a hard fucken game sometimes lol

So far we know that we will summon them using items, since mastery seems to have 0 compatibility with pets.

One time i set the impossible rules for myself. I made a barbarian and called him BareHands lol

The idea was to defeaf hell mode with a naked barbarian using bash, no weapons lol

It is like this

  1. play a meta build, D2R is simple. I made a new blizzard sorc from scratch, no shared stash nothing got to level 99 in 46 hours.
  2. play a non-meta build it is either hard as fkk or you hav e to spend 28 Jah runes to make the build “viable”

As back on the topic, I do not think I will enjoy any of the dual wield stuff from Berserker since nightblade and inquisitor already exsists and excel at those things

Do you have information what items or how to acquire them?

I’ll probably go full Werewolf, combine with Oathkeeper(Zealot) and try to find the set that turns the Guardians into a wolf pack.

Apparently you can do that with occultist too. Maybe the devs will give us come clarification
