This has been bugging me… Well, since forever.
I would really like to know what the ghosts are saying. I’m specifically wondering about the audio clip that sounds like they’re saying, “tasty.”
Or maybe it’s taste it? Toasty? Toast it?
I would forever be grateful for an answer with insight into this great unknown.
What ghosts?
The apparitions and haunted noble or champion enemies you encounter all over the game, especially in Old Arkovia and the Steps of Torment, like this.
They are saying “Ghosty”, obviously 
Wasn’t they’re saying “this pear”?

I was hoping their voice clips would have been Zantai saying that he’s gonna kill your build and each undead represents a dead build.
Of course! Why didn’t I realize that? 
How did you discover this? It seems plausible it’s the “Join Us” combat dialogue. That’s the one I can imagine it being with the least amount of mental gymnastics at least.
I guess to provide some insight… I usually play GD while wearing a pair of noise cancelling headphones. I’ve always really liked the audio and music in the game, but have always been curious about some of the behind the scenes stuff. I guess there are just some quirks to it I’ve always wondered about.
The ghost dialogue was one. What the deal is with the boat motor-like sound that plays in the ambient background alongside of “Lament,” the Devil’s Crossing area music is another.
Lol. Sounds like it could also be “despair”, which would make sense thematically considering the fate that befell them.
I have extracted all GD files in the past, mainly for making memes and using game’s sounds in my projects. Also I was curious what the fuck Theodin Marcell is saying.
