What do you think about cooperative lane pushing mode?

Unlike dota which is a pvp centred lane pushing game, how would be a mode in Grim Dawn where you can either play at single player or a cooperative team against waves of monsters, but never having pvp as Grim Dawn isn’t meant to have pvp?

You start in an arena, with 1-3 lanes to push until boss area of arena.
Defeating the towers protecting the boss and then the boss itself leads to another arena with another boss.
After few arenas, mutators start to complicate fight as monsters and bosses become stronger.
Obviously, players may opt to stop progressing through these arenas, as defeating a boss allow players to choose between ending the run or progressing into next arena.

Seems familiar to something that Grim Dawn already has?
