I’m using this sword as an illusion and I noticed a strange engraving on the blade
above you see the right side of the blade, below is the left side which seems to be the same texture but mirrored.
I can’t figure out what it says. Looks like IAGIST or TAGISI or something. Maybe that’s not even an S but an 8. Any idea what it could mean? Maybe a hint to another secret, or an injoke among the graphics artists…
I think in the lore the early weapons like that were makeshift things people made from random scraps lying around, so the engraving could just be for flavor, like they made this from a random metal sign or something.
yeah I think you’re right! Could be part of a shoppe sign or street sign that’s fallen off and found it’s final purpose as the crudest sword ever. No secret message, case closed I guess 
lvl 1: you are a hobo/bum who is also a beggar that can’t be chooser. you use scrap metal/anything you can find to make miserable makeshift weapons and tattered clothes/armor.
lvl 100: you’re a godlike being slaying godlike being everyday. you don’t bother with affairs of hobos/bums/beggars even for a nanosecond.
Perhaps it’s part of a sign saying magistrate?
