What gear to focus on in a TSS Druid build?

I’ve been looking at guides, but still feel a little confused and would appreciate a little more help focusing my gear. I’m not quite understanding why my paper doll DPS goes up or down based on certain gear. I’m currently using TSS with OFF on trash mobs. I’m only level 24 right now, but will be taking on wind devil and storm totem at some point.

  1. Anyways, should I go all out on elemental, cold or lightning %? Does +30% elemental give cold 10% and lightning 10%, with fire 10%, or do each get a full 30% damage boost?
  2. Is OA equal in importance?
  3. My biggest question is…cast speed shouldn’t help TSS, right?

Btw there’s weapon sold by vendor in Steps of Torment, which can convert all the lightning damage from Trozan to cold, so you can focus on one damage type if you want.

In Grim Dawn there’s flat and % percentage damage. If you have % elemental, is bonus to all elements. Flat is spread to all three elements in equal pieces. Since Trozan and other spells don’t have Weapon Damage, you care only about % damage. Cast speed affect only spells without cooldown like Panettis.
