Yep, there is a big burning boom around you nad stuff gets damaged and stunned-if small mobs
And if your build is force wave spam then i strongly recommend more than 1 point. It’s total speed bonus means also extra casting speed.

I dont think 1% total speed alone per point is worth it. It’s a waste of skillpoints, and those are very limited in GD, you cant max all skills you want.
It absolutely is. Movement speed alone would make it worth it. That it also benefits your offensive potential (unless you’re a DoT build/summoner) is incredible.
I believe i will go without it. I have +3 soldier now but +0 demo 
and atm i have other priorities and just got wayward soul.
16 points for 15% Cast Speed, Attack Speed, Movement Speed and rather high aumont of health regen is totally worth it. The proc is rather useful for more squishy characters since it can stop weak trash mobs in their tracks. Plus it’s rather well supported by items, meaning you can reach level 16 with few points (my 2H Commando has it at level 12 with just 1 point).
I can name several skills that have far worse returns than Vindictive Flame (coughSquadTacticscough).
How often is it on? Once i toggle it is it on ? I cannot figure it out

Once you toggle it on, its on until you run out of energy.

Also bear in mind taht the sweet spot for total speed is lvl 11, after that it’s diminishing returns per skill point regarding total speed. So you don’t need lvl 16
If you are a Force Wave Spammer you should really go close to that number
