What happened with AA?

So, I bought Forgotten Gods and noticed that AA (Anti-Alisng) is now just a toggle option, with zero hints on what kind of AA you are using. Please, fix???

Between this question and your call to nerf pet builds in a thread about items (not builds) I might kindly suggest you read a little of the forum before you ask for stuff. The first has been answered in numerous threads already and the second is just not the right place for that discussion.

You must learn to follow your OWN RULES. Also, this doesn’t fix that there are no exact description in game, which is required for finished game

So… what is this thread about? AA = auto attack, so idk what are you talking about. I did play over 700 hours but no one ever said anything about AA (which I assume is Auto Attack) having no description.

If something is not clear, and there are multiple ways of expanding a shortcut, you should state it at least once. I can bet only a small portion of people understand what you’re talking about.

This is not a discussion topic, but a topic to get DEVs attention to get it fixed. They know what I am talking about

while we’re at the topic of anti aliasing, op seems to know the difference between anti aliasing options. what’s the difference between them anti aliasing bilinear trilinear etc?

The old renderer uses MSAA, which is not supported by deferred renderers. It uses FXAA instead, which apparently does not need / support more than an on/off toggle. Older article, which explains a bit more: https://www.kotaku.com.au/2011/12/what-is-fxaa/

It says it right in the patch notes as well that if you turn on DEFERRED RENDERING that AA becomes a toggle.

Maybe you should READ the changes to the game in the patch notes before you go off saying something needs fixing.

That’s the problem in today’s world…everyone just assumes without knowledge of the situation
