What is your favorite mastery?

It’s skills don’t exactly appeal to me at the moment but then again I am lacking the gearing for it as well

I still don’t know what Horn of Gandalf does in Inquisitor line. Does it say “You shall not pass!”

No, it says “REDESIGN ME!!!”

No really, it’s an average skill, but I wish it worked in a way similar to Fevered Rage, in that the confused enemies would get a damage buff, while they’re attacking each other, but from what I heard, it can’t work properly like this.

Crate stole my horn again :furious:

I’ve always liked occultists and chaos, so my vote still goes there

Crate really nailed the design for the necromancer.

It is unique I must say, especially the new damage absorb skill is quite refreshing

Should give it some time for the novelty of the new content to wear off.

It certainly has a lot of different directions you can take it even if the legions what 3 skill levels per extra summon ends up a little steep for multi-classing (as opposed to shaman which get’s 9 for 3 skill points [wind devil, wendigo & storm totem]).
It probably balances out enough considering the skeletons at least stick around enabling primary impact instead of having to build up numbers.
Personally I’m enjoying it’s Bone Harvest wave attack, aside from being a little short ranged it synergises well with the mobs holding the enemy up at just the right range.
I’m planning to get a few more wave attacks to take advantage of it.

Necromancer. Spectral Binding is probably my favorite toggleable ability with its health and OA bonus with barely any energy being reserved. The +Aether damage and +% Aether damage are just icing on the cake of amazing stats.

The modifier, Spectral Wrath just makes an amazing ability even better. If you deal Vitality or Aether damage, it reduces their resists, and even if you don’t deal Vitality or Aether damage, it’s still an attack speed reduction.

Then you have Mark of Torment for added survivability.

Master of Death is good even if you don’t have pets. +% OA scales well with Spectral Binding, +DA is good for preventing getting critted, and +Vitality resist makes it easy to cap out on Vitality resist.

Drain Essence is surprisingly fun, especially if you get a Spectral War Shield. Just put 1 or 2 points in the modifier that makes Drain Essence have a chance to hit 2 targets then wear the shield and watch what happens to the skill. It adds the % together AND it stacks the amount of targets. So you can double the amount of targets and the chance of it occurring, which is amazing.

Blight Fiend is a great tank, too, reducing their chance to hit and confusing a whole screen’s worth of enemies.

I may or may not be having tons of fun with my Drain Essence Spellbinder.

Yep. It’s easily one of the best skills in the game right now.

I dont have any right now. I am hoping the 9th mastery, if ever we get one, will be a witcher.

So basically we’ll get to seduce every female NPC in the game?

not all but just the beautiful ones:p

seriously Crate should consider a witcher. A mastery dedicated to slaying women would certainly boost player morale and eventually solve the current dismal sales

It’s very satisfying to see Necro being ahead but Demolitionist is loosing? No one likes Blast Shield, Fire Strike, Flashbang?

Noone likes Grenado, Canister and Mortar Trap.

Haters :stuck_out_tongue:

With the recent buffs Necro being ahead makes sense

With the recent changes Grenade is actualy good. I have one elementalist in work with 19 min 100-150 clear time with untransmuted SJ+Grenade.
I hope Crete would expand Ulzuin chosen on Mortar trap =)

I’d actually like that

Arcanist best secondary class. Period

I guess Necro is new flavor of the month now. My personal best is Solder and Nightblade, voted for Solder.

I went with Shaman. I love the fire and forget skills, like Wind Devil, Storm Totem, Wendigo Totem. And always love the theme of Grasping Vines type skills. Necromancer is probably a close second with the flexibility of the kit. I like Occultist as well.

I suppose, ironically, I also kind of hate pet builds in this game, and my favorite classes are the pet ones.
